UQ Cheer & Dance

UQ Cheer & Dance The University of Queensland’s only competitive Cheer and Dance Club The University of Queensland Cheer and Dance Club is based in Brisbane, Australia.

Launched in 2014 by an enthusiastic undergrad group, our teams compete across Australia at State and National cheerleading and dance competitions throughout the year. We have teams for absolute beginners through to experienced athletes and welcome everyone within the UQ community! Our teams currently consist of;
- Premier Level 1 All Girl Cheer
- Premier Level 1/2 Coed Cheer
- Premier Level 3/4 Al

l Girl Cheer
- Premier Pom & Jazz Dance
- Premier Hip Hop Dance
- Premier Contemporary Dance

All teams train at least once a week, with additional training available to individuals in areas like flying, partner stunting, and tumbling.
