RAPP LAB event is coming soon! Our team goal is to raise awareness of a collaborative robot called Baxter.

Baxter is a research robot which is widely being used in educational institutions. Baxter has always been known as a manufacturing robot, so our team's objective is to show the society that Baxter has the ability to do so much more, for example doing animation and dance.

This event is open for public and no entry fee at all! Each one of you guys are welcomed to join us and getting up close...

This event is open for public and no entry fee at all! Each one of you guys are welcomed to join us and getting up close with a human size robot. Not everyday you can witness a robot that actually can think, learn and act like human (or beat you on naughts and crosses game). So, do not miss this golden opportunity. Baxter is waiting for you to meet him!

If you would like to find out more about robotics and artificial intelligence, there will panel discussion (Q&A) session after Baxter's performance. So please stay tuned!

Have you ever wondered what could a robot possibly do in today's world? What is the capabilities of a real life robot? Can robot and human even work together? The movies that are being portrayed here (Her and CJ7) shows the capabilities of robot or machine and how close the relationship between them and human could grow. But yeah right, these types of robot are only exists in movies, but not in real life.

Well, what if i tell you, in 2017 robots now have become smarter and able to do so much other things that you could've ever imagined of. The things that you thought will just happen in the future is happening RIGHT NOW.

Yeah, you heard me right. The future is here. Robot now can learn and do many things just like human. And we want you to see it yourself.
So come to the Building 23 (Retro Cafe, University Dr, Bruce, ACT 2617 on Saturday (23/9/17) at 1 PM and see yourself a life-size robot performance. Its totally worth it.
