From our team here at Tower crane training (TCT)we say congratulations to this crew all successfully passing their personnel and materials hoist assessment today.

Fun fact, the HP license covers the HM license for hoist operations, check out the description below. Perfect for builders hoist or formwork hoist and tower crane hoist.

Materials hoist (HM)
With this licence class you are only allowed to hoist goods or materials. You cannot hoist personnel. The hoist’s car, bucket or platform is cantilevered from, and travels up and down externally to, a face of the support structure.
Personnel and material hoists (HP)
This licence class allows you to operate a hoist in which personnel, goods and/or materials may be hoisted, and which comprises a car, structure, machinery or other equipment associated with the hoist, and which may be either a cantilever hoist, a tower hoist, or a multiple winch operation.

TCT teamed up with Incolink, Next Gen and Local Jobs Program Sydney South West to host our Women’s Open Day.

We were joined by three inspiring women:

✨ Sally – Hoist Operator, Forklift Operator, OH& S officer & CW

✨ Beth – Dogman, Rigger, Crane Operator

✨ Sharon – CICA Competency Officer, Dogman, Rigger & Crane Operator

They shared their experience of how they got into the industry working the pathway up, building on skills step by step and persisting in finding opportunities.
