Here we go again!!!

We are excited to let you know that the registration for our 2nd annual gala just opened today. The theme for this year is Women in Leadership.

Join fellow Women* in Physics, Astro and Engineering for our second annual gala on Friday September 15th at 11:30am in Mary Reay Teaching center (superfloor).

Come celebrate and network with your peers in an afternoon filled with insightful seminars, interactive sessions and a job fair. Not to mention delicious food!

11:30 am Gala opening
12 am Lunch buffet and coffee
1:30 pm Speaker 1 - Prof. Hanna Kurniawati
2 pm Speaker 2 - Prof. Anna Moore
2:30 pm Speaker 3 - Prof. Mahananda Dasgupta
3 pm Job fair/afternoon tea buffet
4:15 pm Closing of gala

The event is aimed at all those who identify as women in RSPhys, RSAA and CECC at the ANU, including academics, professional staff, PhD and Master's students. The event is also open to 3rd and 4th year undergraduates, it is an unrivalled opportunity for you to learn more about the reality of being a woman in leadership.

Time flies! Already a week has passed since In Conversation 2 where we were honoured to receive four women rock stars from our Colleges of Science and Engineering. We also announced the winners of our Dress for STEM competition, congrats RSPhys store team!

Get your cameras ready, enroll all your colleagues ! WiPAE is organising a photo contest to celebrate the International Day of Women and Girls in Science.

The best photo will receive a 200 AUD award. Everyone in the photo has to be part of RSPhys/RSAA or CECS. This event is open to everyone and is not limited to members of the WiPAE community.

We want to see groups of people working in their best purple. Photoshop is allowed. The picture needs to have a purple theme and we should be able to guess what kind of work you do.
