Beat 10 other PhD students at ANU, win $4000 and progress to the Asia-Pacific final in October. Yeh, we'd be cheering loudly for all to hear too, Sand.

Well done to Sasanan, and our ANU runner-up, Rakshanya. We couldn't be prouder.

You can read more about Sasanan's win from the link in the bio.

I know without a doubt that our ways heal and we know what harms as community members, ourselves and even as wellbeing researchers, we’re not immune to these harms. And so we are thankful for those of you who encourage, in words and in action to inform harm free, and healing acts.

Powerful words from Fiona Cornforth - Yardhura Walani during their launch this month.

Substandard housing combined with overcrowding drives Indigenous health and social inequality according to ANU PhD student Dr Simon Quilty. Together with the Wilya Janta collaboration and Tennant Creek community members, Simon presented solutions to this crisis at Parliament House. Together they showcased new culturally and climatically appropriate housing for Indigenous communities in Central Australia.
