Student voice in action.

Congratulations to Erindale College students Isla, Olivia and Hayley, who represented the college at the Tuggeranong Youth Forum facilitated by the Tuggeranong Community Council and Communities at Work.

The forum brought together young people from schools and colleges across the region to discuss key issues affecting their communities, including health and wellbeing, climate change, education, transport, employment and community safety.

By confidently sharing their ideas and listening to the perspectives of others, these students embodied the Erindale College learner profile attributes of collaboration, communication and active citizenship.

Well done on making your voices heard and helping shape conversations that matter.

Earlier this term, students in the Talented Dance Program travelled to Sydney for a three day immersive experience that brought learning to life on stage and in the studio.

Students attended the powerful production of Anastasia the Musical and took part in contemporary and hip-hop workshops with professional artists from the Sydney Dance Company.

Throughout the experience, students demonstrated our Learner Profile attributes by seeking challenge in unfamiliar environments, remaining determined when refining new skills, and working collaboratively with peers and industry professionals.

A special thank you to TDP Director Michelle for organising this outstanding opportunity.

Witness the Magic of Dance at Erindale College.

Our talented dance students proudly present the 2026 Dance Showcase, where creativity, passion and performance come alive on stage. Every routine tells a story and celebrates the courage, collaboration and confidence of our young performers.

This spectacular evening highlights the dedication of students who continue to grow as creative thinkers, reflective learners and confident communicators through the performing arts.

There is something for everyone and we cannot wait to share this unforgettable showcase with our community.

Food Science and Nutrition students at Erindale College put their Learner Profile attributes into action by being inquisitive, creative and willing to embrace a challenge.

As part of their study into the history of Australian food culture, students explored famous brands such as Edgell, SPC, Golden Circle and Bega while tasting some classic pantry staples from the past. From spam to cold baked beans on crackers, students stepped outside their comfort zones and discovered how food trends have changed over time.

A fun and engaging lesson that combined history, creativity and plenty of conversation.

Our Year 11 and 12 Humanities students recently stepped into the role of future leaders during a visit to the ACT Legislative Assembly, participating in a mock inquiry focused on the upgrade and maintenance of sports facilities across the ACT.

Working alongside students from Merici College and Canberra College, our students demonstrated collaboration, critical thinking and confident communication as they analysed issues, questioned stakeholders and developed recommendations.

A special congratulations to Year 11 Legal students Sonny and Cesc, who were selected as two of only four committee members chosen to preside over the inquiry. An outstanding achievement that reflects the capability and leadership of our Erindale learners.

Our talented music students were “getting in the groove” last week in preparation for their Stage Performance assessment in the Erindale Theatre.

For many students, this marked their first performance of the year in front of an audience. While nerves were high, students demonstrated resilience, collaboration and a willingness to challenge themselves in a real live performance environment.

Students worked closely with theatre professionals, supported their peers and reflected on their performances as part of their learning journey.

We are proud of the way our students continue to grow as performers and learners.

Today we acknowledge National Sorry Day, an important opportunity to reflect on the impact of the Stolen Generations and recognise the strength, resilience and courage of Survivors and their families.

At Erindale College, we encourage our students to be compassionate, reflective and culturally aware learners who contribute positively to their community. National Sorry Day reminds us all of the importance of listening, learning and walking together towards healing and reconciliation.

Last week, Erindale College proudly welcomed Sydney FC Academy coaches for two outstanding days of football development and learning.

Our students embraced every opportunity to challenge themselves, refine their skills, and learn from elite level coaches through a variety of engaging game-based sessions. It was fantastic to see students demonstrating the Erindale College Learner Profile attributes by working collaboratively, being open-minded to new ideas and showing confidence when stepping outside their comfort zones.

A special mention to our girls program, who displayed incredible resilience and determination while training through difficult weather conditions to make the most of this valuable experience.

Experiences like these continue to provide our students with opportunities to grow both on and off the field.
