The AUT Law Student Society was established in 2009 to meet the needs of AUT Law students and acts as a link between students and both Faculty and the legal profession. AUTLSS assists students in all aspects of their law degree whether it be acquiring or selling books, holding study workshops, organising sports tournaments and social events such as the Ball and Law Stein.

Need some help with outfit inspo for the dress code of our upcoming Masquerade Gala? We got you covered! 🎭

If you don't know allready, on the 26th of September at 6PM at the Remuera golf club, we are hosting our annual student gala! Featuring a buffet dinner, subsidised drinks, a live band, photography, and spot prizes for creativity and following the theme, this is the perfect event to cap off the uni year!

AUTLSS members receive a discount code via email for their tickets, and other AUT law club members (TAT, SALSA, AUTPLSA, Moot Soc, AUTWIL, AUT Moananui) also have a discount code through email. Be sure to get your tickets now with the link in our bio!

📚 AUTLSS JUNIOR NEGOTIATION COMPETITION! ⚖️

Ready to put your negotiation skills to the test? The Junior Negotiation Competition is the perfect opportunity to think on your feet, develop your strategy, and practise the real-world skills every lawyer needs.

First time competing? That’s exactly what this competition is for. No prior negotiation experience is required, and you’ll compete in pairs in a supportive environment designed to help junior law students build confidence, gain experience, and challenge themselves outside the lecture theatre. *Competitors must be a Part I or Part II law student; and have not previously progressed beyond the semi-final rounds of any competition.*
