Our awardees for 2025, ๐๐ผ๐ฟ๐ด๐ถ๐ฎ ๐๐น๐ฎ๐ป๐ธ๐ and ๐๐ฎ๐๐ฟ๐ฎ ๐ฑ๐ฒ ๐ฆ๐ถ๐น๐๐ฎ-๐๐ฒ๐ถ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ joined hundreds of marine scientists and knowledge holders at the conference in Canberra, centred around the theme โ๐๐๐ง๐๐ฃ๐ ๐๐๐๐๐ฃ๐๐ ๐ฌ๐๐ฉ๐ ๐๐ข๐ฅ๐๐๐ฉ.โ
With a strong emphasis on interdisciplinary connections, including marine social science, Indigenous knowledge, policy and governance, the conference provided the opportunity to listen to leading researchers, share their own work and explore potential future collaborations.
Thank you to all who donated to the Elizabeth Pearce Marine Science Fund, and to AMSA for providing conference registration free of charge for our awardees.
The Fund remains open and donations continue to support future marine biology students at UWA. To donate go to https://giving.uwa.edu.au/online-giving?id=771083e1-7936-453f-92ef-d655ce3a2f08
