*NEW DATE for 2024 Annual General Meeting and Council Elections*

The Annual General Meeting (AGM) scheduled for October 16th was adjourned due to an insufficient quorum.

As per the GMA's regulations, a quorum is required to proceed with the meeting, and unfortunately, not enough members were present. The AGM has now been rescheduled for October 23rd 2024 at 6:30pm AWST.

A heartfelt thank you to our keynote speaker, Christina Matthews AM, for an inspiring evening. Christina shared invaluable insights on leadership in today's world, the significance of organisational values and behaviours, and how to stand by them. It was a privilege to hear from her 36 years of experience in management, coaching, and development roles.

Dr. David MacKinlay: Former corporate strategist and senior exec in the UK engineering sector, Harvard MBA, and Chairman of UWA's UK Chapter. He has reshaped corporate portfolios and mentored MBA students at Oxford and UWA.

Dr. Dick Porter AM: Co-founder of STA Travel with 35 years as CEO/Director, Chair of the Australia-UK Chamber of Commerce, and Director of the Australia Day Foundation UK. A pioneer in educational travel and an Honorary Fellow at University College London.

Dr. Christine Scholes: Accredited commercial mediator and executive business coach. A former commercial lawyer with a doctorate in professional studies, she supports senior executives across the UK and internationally and serves on the UK’s Heath Research Authority Ethics Committee.

Glen Travers: Co-founder and Chairman of Proxima Concepts Ltd, with a rich history in the biopharma industry. Glen led Cortecs International to a $1.2 billion market cap and is a past winner of the European Healthcare Entrepreneur of the Year award.

Chris Walton: An international board advisor with extensive experience in energy, defense, and transportation sectors. Former Finance Director of easyJet, where he directed its successful IPO, and a former senior exec at Qantas and Air New Zealand. He also served as Audit Chair of the UK’s Submarine Delivery Agency.
