Are you looking to elevate your finance career and apply your academic skills to real-world challenges? 🚀 The inaugural FMAA x University of Sydney School of Finance Stock Pitch Competition is your chance to shine!

Open to all University of Sydney students (undergraduate and postgraduate), from any major or degree program, the competition gives you the opportunity to present an investment thesis or stock pitch in teams of 2-4 (with at least one female participant). Individual registrations are also accepted - the FMAA will assign individual participants to teams before case release. Teams will then present and demonstrate their skills before prospective finance employers.

The competition is supported by Blackstone and Regal Funds with the following prizes on offer:
🥇 1st Place = $2,000 and a coffee chat with Blackstone
🥈 2nd Place = $1,000
🥉 3rd Place = $500

- Case Release: 22 September, 9:00 am
- Case Submission: 6 October, 11:59 pm
- Semi-Finals: 8 October, 4-6 pm
- Finals: 14 October, 4-6 pm

We're excited to celebrate the Beta Alpha Psi Lambda Omega Chapter, who recently represented the University at the 2026 Beta Alpha Psi Annual Meeting in Baltimore, Maryland.

🥇 Project Run With It: Alongside their interdisciplinary teams, Amelia Pok, Sebastian Wong and Chloe Tran competed in the international consulting challenge, developing business strategies for local not-for-profits to deliver long-term benefits for their communities.

📚 Deloitte Best Practices: Abigail Mills, Marian Unay, Aidan Pascoe and Amanda Heng represented the University of Sydney in the 'Collaboration & Unity' category, having qualified at the mid-year meeting in Sydney earlier this year.

Beyond the competition, the Annual Meeting gave our members the opportunity to connect with students, professionals and BAP chapters from around the world, bringing fresh ideas and perspectives back to Sydney.

Congratulations to the team for everything you've achieved! We're looking forward to seeing what the Chapter accomplishes next year!
