IHD is CDU's only on-campus accommodation facility. IHD’s diverse community represents Territory, interstate and international students.

Living on campus at International House Darwin (IHD) provides students in higher education, work placement and trades the experiences that are essential to University life. IHD is the only on campus accommodation facility in Darwin, Northern Territory, and a proud member of International Houses Worldwide (IHWW). es of parkland located about 12 kilometres from Darwin’s CBD. IHD is a 15 minute walk from Casuarina Square – Darwin’s largest shopping centre with supermarkets, specialty shops, restaurants and cinema – and a 10 minute walk from Casuarina Beach and foreshore where you can relax, exercise, socialise and enjoy a spectacular sunset. IHD onsite facilities include computer labs, wireless internet access, a swimming pool, BBQ facilities, a volleyball setup, a multi-faith room, and the ‘Multicultural Room’ providing projector equipment for presentations, events and films.
