• All tests will start and finish later compared to previous years.

• Plan flights/events carefully, taking test times into account.

📌 More Information & Test Guide
• Electronic device ban:
Please do not bring electronic devices such as laptops or tablets on test day, as they cause unnecessary delays in the check-in and check-out process for all test takers.
• The use of any electronic device with communication functions (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, mobile data, etc.) is strictly prohibited during the entire test, including breaks, at the Host Institution. All devices must be completely switched off.
• Looking at, touching, or being near an electronic device during the test period (without requesting permission and receiving approval from the Test Centre) — which includes interactions with family, friends, guardians, or acquaintances — will be considered Misconduct and result in Immediate Disqualification from the JLPT.

📣 JLPT – July 2025 Gold Coast

Hello everyone!
The JLPT will be held tomorrow, Sunday July 6, at Griffith University – Gold Coast Campus.

Here are a few friendly reminders to help your test day go smoothly:

✅ Feeling unwell?
Please stay home if you're sick. If you're showing symptoms, you won’t be allowed to sit the test and no refunds will be given.

✅ Bring your essentials:
* Your A4 printed test voucher (no writing on it, and don’t print on used paper)
* Valid photo ID (not expired)
* Pencils (HB or No. 2 only), eraser, and sharpener
* Water/snacks (Snacks only during breaks. Drinks are allowed during the exam.)

🚫 Electronic Devices:
Stricter rules apply starting this year. All mobile phones, smart watches, and similar devices are completely banned from use during the entire test, including breaks.
Devices must be switched off and will be collected by staff at the start and returned at the end.

👉 Follow the instructions given by your proctor at check-in at 1:00pm.

🔴 JLPT SUNDAY JULY 06, 2025 – Important Test Day Information

📌 Test Voucher Requirements:

✅ Please bring a printed A4 copy of your test voucher to the exam room.
✅ The voucher must be printed on blank paper (not the back of used sheets).
✅ No writing or markings are allowed anywhere on the voucher.
🚫 Digital copies (e.g., on your phone) will not be accepted.
✅ Bring a current government-issued photo ID (passport, driver’s license, or health card with photo). NOT EXPIRED
✏️ Only medium-soft “No. 2” or “HB” pencils and erasers are allowed.
🚫 Mechanical pencils are not permitted.

📵 New Entry Protocol – Effective July 2025

The use of mobile phones, smartwatches, and other electronic devices is strictly prohibited throughout the JLPT exam — including during breaks.

🚫 If any device makes a sound, vibrates, or is seen in use, it will be treated as misconduct and result in immediate disqualification.

🔐 To comply with these regulations, we strongly recommend that test takers do one of the following:

1. Leave your device/s at home, or
2. Turn off all device/s and hand them to your onsite proctor during check-in at 1:00 PM. Devices will be placed in labelled document cases, stored and always supervised by proctors.
3. Devices will only be returned once all exam sections have concluded.

❗Neither The Host Institution nor Japan Foundation will not be held responsible for any lost or damaged items.

❗If your device activates at any time during the exam — even during breaks — you will be disqualified for misconduct.

✅ Please:
• Turn off all devices before check-in at 1:00pm
• Avoid bringing unnecessary electronics.
