Small Animal Nutrition Short Course

Correct nutrition is not only vital for our own pets and the animals we care for, we need to be able to correctly advise owners on suitable food for their pets. This short course will ensure you understand what digestion and nutrition, how to feed for particular life stages, how to read pet labels, diseases that are influenced by nutrition, and how to calculate energy requirements.

This short course comes from a subject that forms part of the Cert III in Animal Studies, and Cert III in Companion Animal Services.

Whilst aimed at people working in the animal care industry, this course is also suitable for pet owners wanting to learn more about feeding correct diets to pets.

To try a sample of this course – head over to http://vns.vet/2fjgSO6 and enrol in the ‘Avian Nutrition’ sample topic.
