The UOW Civil Engineering Society is looking to put together a team for the challenge hosted by RTSA.

It’s a hackathon-style event where students work together on a real-world rail industry challenge, meet industry professionals, and learn more about career pathways in rail.

Key details:
Teams of 4 students
Held in Sydney
Event nights: 10, 17 and 24 June 2026
You must be able to attend all 3 nights in person, from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm

National Final: 16 July 2026 in NSW
Great opportunity to network with rail industry leaders and employers

The University of Wollongong's Infrastructure & Property Division (IPD) is offering a Work Integrated Learning (WIL) Scholarship for Engineering students in 2025!

Gain hands-on industry experience, work alongside accredited engineers, and contribute to real projects that shape UOW's future infrastructure.

What you'll do:
➡️ Work on a major project digitising UOW's strategic assets
➡️ Gain skills in project management, stakeholder engagement, and site inspections
➡️ Receive $15,000 financial support while completing your 12-week placement

Placement runs 24 Nov 2025 – 27 Feb 2026 and is open to 3rd-year Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) or related double degree students.
