South Gippsland Bass Coast Local Learning & Employment Network

South Gippsland Bass Coast Local Learning & Employment Network The official South Gippsland Bass Coast LLEN page.

The South Gippsland Bass Coast Local Learning and Employment Network (SGBCLLEN) operates as one of 31 LLENs across Victoria. We are an independent not-for-profit incorporated association and primarily funded by the Victorian Department of Education and Training. Our aim is to broker sustainable partnerships that support learning and identify and develop options for young people that are at risk o

f disengagement from education, with a particular focus on supporting students to complete year 12 or equivalent. Industries engage with us in many ways to help students build the skills, knowledge and aspirations needed to successfully transition from school to further education and training or employment. SGBCLLEN works closely with schools by developing partnerships that support student transition, pathways and career development. We respond to Government Initiatives and local priorities working closely with schools, training organisations, education networks, local business and industry, government and the wider community.

Our Story

The South Gippsland Bass Coast Local Learning and Employment Network (SGBCLLEN) operates as one of 31 LLENs across Victoria. We are an independent not-for-profit incorporated association primarily funded by the Victorian Department of Education and Training. Our aim is to broker sustainable partnerships that support learning and identify and develop options for young people that are at risk of disengagement from education, with a particular focus on supporting students to complete year 12 or equivalent. We aim to do this in collaboration with our stakeholders by developing and implementing innovative and engaging projects and pathways for young people. We respond to Government Initiatives and local priorities working closely with schools, training organisations, education networks, local business and industry, government and the wider community.
