The IMPACT Growth cultural exposure day can help! Once a year we take our IMPACTers out to learn about culture and experiene things they might not have experienced before. Last Saturday was that day. Here's what we got up to

Preparing for global exposure? Practice these things to prepare mentally:

👉 Do things that make you uncomfortable. Take yourself out of your comfort zone practice sitting in that feeling of discomfort

📝 Learn what you can about your destination, its people, customs and history before you go so you know what to expect

🗣️ Acknowledge your feelings whatever they are. It’s normal to feel anxious, uncertain, or confused about things, but don’t hide those feelings, name them

Getting ready for a global exposure trip doesn’t have to be complicated. Preparing your body for travel might look like:

🚶‍♂️Walking more. You’ll probably do a lot of walking on your trip so get yourself used to being on your feet for a long time

🍜 You’ll probably be eating foods that are different from what you’re used to. Adjusting your diet as much as you can before travel can help you adjust quickly

đź’¦ Hydrate more. Hydration can help with sleep, jet lag, and the humidity so keep drinking that water!
