I'm staying off socials a lot right now as the glossing over/elision of the femicide epidemic here in Australia - that representative Helen Haines is a tragic part of - becomes softened into 'we're angry about politics in general'

No. Women are actively and murderously targeted and affected, in all walks of life.

And stop the media focus on purported good deeds or 'depression' in the attacker. No one needs to hear that a man's deliberate actions deserve to be mitigated. Again.

Enough.

Yes, I could have taken a moment to position this better, but this is real life AND I'M TOO EXCITED!!!

My gorgeous new belt from has arrived and she is soooooooo bloody beautiful!

Supporting small, local and female-led businesses is a priority of mine, but these two incredible leather workers make this a pleasure of a priority.

My fabulous fabric from Crafty Mouses Fabrics in the UK arrived today!! One step closer to a fabulous upcycled chair in the guest room! Next stop: foam for cushions from Launceston and renewing the wooden chair frame.

Bonus loveliness = there's enough fabric to line at least one of the wooden suitcases wonderful Hubs got me!!

I am a therapist. I cannot begin to explain to you how enraged and appalled I am - notes and medical history should remain confidential.

You can always ask your therapist to keep hard copy notes only (as I always do and will continue to do) as anything via a keyboard that has access to wifi/internet is potentially hackable.

We believe all survivors of sexual assault should be able to safely access counselling without fear of their offender ever eavesdropping in on the conversation.
