GDSC RMIT commenced the chapter 2023/24 with a great evening at Google Melbourne.🎉✨

Attendees learned about the workings of large language models and the engineered approach behind design along with computational generation. It was a great opportunity to learn, meet and network with peers.🌟🔌

Big thanks to our speakers - Amit Nambiar & Fanghua (Joshua) Yu, for their time and commitment.🙌

Following a very eventful chapter, it is now time for GDSC RMIT Core Team of the year 2021 - 2022 to bid farewell.

Our chapter started during the pandemic, while the world was scrambling to adapt to the “new normal” the GDSC RMIT team started organising online events and later shifted to hybrid and in-person events when the world was coming out of lock down.
The team constantly strived to share valuable insight and knowledge with their fellow members and managed to host more than 40 events and workshops on various topics as well as a world wide hackathon and a state wide case competition.

It is amazing to look back to all the great times we shared and all of the great individuals we met along the way. ✨

The GDSC-RMIT community grew from nothing to a strong, diverse and engaging community of 500+ members in just a year and we were all humbled and grateful for all the love and support we received. ❤️

We would like to extend a big thank you to industry partners, collaborators, colleagues, mentors and everyone we met along our way that helped us steer the club over rough seas.

All that GDSC-RMIT is today was possible because of our wonderful core team - PK, Isaac, Andee, Sheryl, Aldric, Pemal, Nicholas and Sasilu, our GDSC Leads - Mili, Charm & Jackie, and our loving members who were with us throughout this journey.

Wishing the next chapter all the very best with the future endeavours!

- GDSC RMIT Core Team of 2021 - 2022
