RMIT University's Social and Global Studies Centre is home to innovative, rigorous, and forward thinking expert researchers. Using evidence-based research that is grounded in academic, political, policy and practice debates, our Centre is founded on a belief in social justice and equity.
We house nine multi-disciplinary research programs that include, Conflict, Peacebuilding and Security; Crime, Justice and Society; Gender, Violence and Inequality; Health, Society and Medicine; Humanitarianism, Development and Governance; Language, Discourse and Culture; Migration, Mobility and Social Diversity; Social Policy and Practice and Urban Housing and Homelessness.
