🎓 Celebrating ERDI Academy’s First Graduating Students

Yesterday evening, we had the privilege of celebrating a very special milestone as our first Diploma of Hospitality Management students officially graduated from ERDI Academy.

These students have demonstrated dedication, resilience and a genuine passion for the hospitality industry. We are incredibly proud of everything they have achieved and look forward to seeing the impact they make throughout their careers.

A special thank you to Ricky Jeffs, CEO of ERDI Group, for presenting the graduates with their awards and for his continued support of ERDI Academy.

We were also honoured to welcome guest speaker Dr Amalia Di Iorio AM, Pro-Vice Chancellor (Educational Partnerships) at La Trobe University, whose insights made the evening even more memorable.

A heartfelt thank you to Carolyn Neilson, General Manager of ERDI Academy, and Emma Belden, Vocational Trainer, whose dedication and mentorship have helped guide our students every step of the way.

We would also like to acknowledge Steven O., COO of ERDI Group, James Muscat, General Manager of Pullman Melbourne City Centre and Mercure Welcome Melbourne, and Scott Bear, General Manager of Novotel Geelong, for their ongoing support and commitment to developing future hospitality leaders.

Meet Kalil 👋

Studying the Diploma of Hospitality Management at ERDI Academy, Kalil has used the program to expand his knowledge, gain valuable industry insights and continue growing his career in hospitality.

As Assistant Front Office Manager at Pullman Melbourne City Centre, one of Kalil’s favourite parts of the course has been the opportunity to learn directly from industry professionals while gaining exposure across different hotel departments including Front Office, Food & Beverage, Sales, and more.

Since beginning his studies, Kalil has progressed from Duty Manager to Assistant Front Office Manager - an achievement that reflects his hard work, dedication and passion for hospitality. ✨
