The participants of the Australia Awards Short Course on Accessing Climate Finance for Pakistan have successfully concluded their two-week trip to Australia with insightful presentations in Sydney and Canberra.
Highlights from the week included:
• Solar Share Community Energy Pty: A visit to the innovative facility near Canberra is Australia’s largest community-owned solar farm
• Australian Sustainable Finance Institute (ASFI): Ben Sakker Kelly
delivered a presentation outlining Australia’s emerging green taxonomy and providing updates from the Natural Capital Advisory Group (NCAG).
• Climate Energy Finance Sydney: Tim Buckley delivered a presentation on navigating strategic, financial, and geopolitical dynamics to accelerate South Asia’s net zero transition through regional collaboration, investment, and technology convergence.
• Climate Change Policy, Adaptation and Risk Division - National Adaptation Policy Office, Climate Resilience presentation.
