Yesterday, The Wollotuka Institute celebrated the official launch of our new Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with .

The partnership will support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students into meaningful careers, internships and leadership opportunities.

It was a beautiful morning hearing both current interns, and CareerTrackers alumni, speak on the impact the opportunities have had on their lives, and how they would encourage all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students to take up this opportunity.

Trials for the 2026 Indigenous Nationals kick off Tuesday 17 February!
This year is extra special—Nationals return to Newcastle for their 30th anniversary, coming home to where it all began. 🖤💛❤️
It’s more than sport. It’s culture, connection, and celebrating the strength and pride of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
🗓 Trial Dates
• Tuesday 17 Feb: 7am – 8.30am
• Thursday 19 Feb: 7am – 8.30am
• Tuesday 24 Feb: 4pm – 5.30pm
• Thursday 26 Feb: 4pm – 5.30pm
If selected, you’ll be expected to attend regular training sessions in the lead up to the Games, as well as cover tournament fees.
