The Barossa Regional University Campus has new open hours! 📣
From today, 1 June, our staffed hours are 9am to 4pm, Monday to Friday.
But did you know there's more than one way to access the campus? Depending on your study needs, you can choose from:

Staffed hours (9am–4pm, Mon–Fri) — come in, use the space, and connect with our team
Extended hours — access the campus a little earlier or later than staffed hours during the week, without the full commitment of a 24/7 fob
24/7 access — for those who need maximum flexibility around work, family, and life

After-hours access continues as usual. If you'd like to find out which access option suits you best, get in touch or stop by the campus.

You don't need an ATAR to study at university.
If school was a long time ago, or you never finished, or life just went a different direction — that's not a closed door. It's actually a very common starting point.
Most universities have pathways designed specifically for people who are returning to study as adults. Work experience, a short enabling course, a TAFE qualification, or simply being 21 or older can all open the door.
At BRUC, we can help you figure out which pathway makes sense for your situation. No pressure, no jargon — just a conversation.

What's happening behind that frosted glass? A high-stakes finance meeting where they’re debating the merits of investing in cat memes? A study group desperately trying to recall the quadratic formula? Or a spy rendezvous with agents swapping briefcases full of top-secret wine notes?

All we can confirm is that our new frosting ensures no one will ever know! Extra privacy for that next study session.

Big news for the Barossa and beyond! 🎉

The Barossa Regional University Campus is thrilled to announce we've been accepted into the Study Hubs In Place (SHIP) program — one of 10 new hubs welcomed nationally, bringing the total to 21 across Australia.

SHIP is co-facilitated by Study Hubs Australia and the University of Technology Sydney, and funded by the Australian Government. At its heart, the program is about widening participation in tertiary education — making sure that where you live doesn't determine whether higher education feels possible, accessible, or meant for you.

For regional communities like ours, that matters. SHIP puts communities at the centre of local solutions, working alongside universities, TAFEs, and other providers to shift how people imagine and pursue further study.

We can't wait to share more. Watch this space — exciting things are coming.

🦥 Introducing BRUC's two resident weighted sloths!
They live at campus now, and they're here for you.
Weighted objects work on the same principle as deep pressure therapy — the gentle, distributed weight activates the parasympathetic nervous system, helping to reduce cortisol and bring your nervous system back to baseline. It's the science behind weighted blankets, and it genuinely works.
We brought these in because we know study can be overwhelming — especially when you're balancing work, family, and a commute on top of your coursework. Sometimes what you need isn't advice. It's just something to hold.
Come say hi to the sloths next time you're in. No appointment needed.
