✨Yanika Okaeva recently completed her placement at St Charbel’s College in Sydney, working across counselling sessions, group activities, and classroom observations with primary school students.

🙌From preparation through to real-world practice, she shares how supported she felt every step of the way and how these hands-on experiences built her confidence.

🤝“One of the key learnings from my placement was understanding how support from teachers, peers, counsellors and parents can help children navigate challenges.”

🌱With placements currently underway for our Master of Teaching and Graduate Diploma in Early Childhood Teaching students, stories like Yanika’s are a great reminder of the impact of learning beyond the classroom.

✨Last night was a powerful reminder that careers are not always about certainty, but about willingness to try, to grow, and to move forward even without all the answers. From Excelsia to London’s West End, Atlanta and around the world, Lara Bianca Pilcher is living proof that creative journeys are rarely linear, but always meaningful.

🔥'It only takes one person to set the world ablaze, but it also takes just one person to fight the fire and bring the temperature down. Antigone leaves me with no doubt that our voices matter, and that our willingness to make a difference matters too-whatever form that may take.
🎬In bringing Antigone to the stage, I wanted to explore what happens when personal conscience collides with authority. At its heart, Antigone is not just a tragedy; it is a reminder that one voice can challenge fear, inspire change, and defend what it means to be human.'
