Want to practice for the Pokemon World Championships? Want to win some prizes? Or even wanna just battle? 🥊

On September 13th, We are hosting a VGC Tournament using Pokemon Scarlet and Violet on the Nintendo Switch! The format used will be Regulation H which means: No legendaries or Paradox Pokemon are allowed! ⛔️

Did you ever wish you could play as a gym leader? Now you can! 💪

This Friday, we are hosting a Gen-9 Monotype tournament, where participants come wearing something to match their chosen type. Prizes up for grabs for 1st and 2nd place in the tourney as well as best dressed. 💃

Join us in CB11.04.202 at 5pm to play, or drop in at any time to spectate.

We'll have snacks, drinks and other games to play too, so you don't have to be a pro at competitive to join in the fun. We hope to see you there!

👋 Welcome new members from O'day 👋! We have a welcome trivia for both new and returning people of our club:

🗺️ In person, room TBD
🗓️ Friday, Aug 16th
⏰️ 5pm - 8pm

This is a free event, everyone is able to participate!

Bring as many people with you as you can! Form teams, show your competitive spirit, and play some trivia. If you don't want to get a team together, that's perfectly fine, you can make a team there or join an existing one. Keep in mind, though, that we'll keep the team sizes roughly even for the sake of fairness. We've put a lot of effort into making sure this will be a fun event for everyone so we hope you'll come and enjoy it with others.

This event even has some prizes for the top teams! All of the top 3 teams will receive a TCG booster pack for each player. What's more, if you win you and the rest of your team will each receive a gift card for EB Games! That's pretty good incentive to win.

What is Pack Battles⁉️
* Pack Battles is a casual Pokemon TCG tournament event centred around opening packs and deck building.
* Each Player will be given packs and energy cards to battle with.
* Each round you'll be given an unopened pack that will be opened to battle with
* Open to any level of experience from first time to experience play

‼️This is a members-only event ticketed event‼️

# Tickets are $12, only available to UTS Pokémon Club and Gamers Guild members

A little late but we just wanted to say thank you to our friends at for the Pokepals/Puzzle Hangout from last Friday.

Do you want to paint and sip pokemon??? Join Drawing Circle and Pokemon Soc to eat some baked goods and drink some hot drinks while we paint our favourite pocket monsters!

We will have all supplies provided, including paintbrushes, canvases, and paint!! And of course, not to forget the sipping! We will be offering attendees a selection of hot drinks (like tea, coffee and hot choco), as well as the perfect accompaniment of treats!

It’s also totally chill to rock up to the event just to chill with everyone- just know youll have to pay in order to receive a canvas and paint!

WHEN: Friday 19th March, 1pm - 4pm
WHERE: CB11:05:102-104
COST: Tickets are only $12 for members and $20 for non-members!! This includes your very own painted canvas to take home, as well as supplies and cozy food and drink for the full duration of the event!

🥊Who's ready to rumble?!🥊

Our in-person tournaments are back for 2024 (more info on them generally on second poster). Come join us this Friday for our first tournament of the year under the rebranded UTS Pokemon Club Battle League.

💰COST: Free for members, $10 for non-members (costs cover prizes and refreshments)

UTS Pokesoc is collaborating with Playmakers, Gamers Guild and UTS E-sports for a joint watch party of the Game Awards 2023.

Join us as we watch the many games celebrated and trailers released as alongside the watch party is a game bingo where the winner will receive a copy of the game that wins Game Of The Year.

💰COST: $2.50 for members of all clubs hosting, $5 for non-members (food and drinks are included).

🔥Get ready for War!

Looking for something to do over the holiday break? The UTS Pokemon Club has you covered.

Introducing a team-based battle event, you are invited to join an army representing one of the Pokemon game generations and plan with your team to survive the battles ahead. Armies will consist of a general who picks multiple soldiers.

No matter what you're level of experience is, be it a first timer or a veteran we encourage you to participate. Since it is a team event, your more experienced peers will be assisting you in teambuilding.

🗓WHEN: Auction begins December 1st 12:00 am and ends December 3rd 11:45 pm.
