Atelini Ranadi's visit to the Parammatta branch today was a joyous occasion for all involved. Atelini had completed the CHC43015 - Certificate IV in Ageing Support and HLTSS00064 - Infection Control Skill Set in 2020 and her visit was a testament to the positive impact that her education had on her life and career.

During her time in Sydney, Atelini volunteered in various organizations, including government, disability, and aged care centers. The education and training she received during the CHC43015 program changed her outlook as a high support care worker in surprising ways.

Congratulations to our graduating Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing & Disability) and Certificate IV in Ageing Support who recently celebrated the completion of their course.

This qualification reflects the role of workers in the community and/or residential setting who follow an individualised plan to provide person-centred support to people who may require support due to ageing, disability or some other reason.

This course will equip you with the skills and knowledge to gain employment within an aged care and disability environment.

Yes it's been a while. Everyone keeps asking for news...
Problem is we have been soooo busy. Now is that an excuse? Is that a good thing? Absolutely!!!

It means that we have started the NSW Smart and Skilled Funded Program for the Cert III courses in Aged Care and Home & Community Care. Students now pay only a concessional fee. The rest is paid for by the Government.

Check if you are Eligible?
Are you over 15yrs
Are you a Permanent Resident or an Australian Citizen, or Humanitarian visa holder?
Do you live or work in New South Wales?
Then log onto: www.smartandskilled.nsw.gov.au
Your subsidy will depend on:
Previous qualifications higher than Cert III
Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander students
If you are on an Apprenticeship or Traineeship
Receiving welfare benefits or dependents of welfare recipients

Season's Greetings everyone.

Congratulations to Ready Health Nursing College. We started celebrating in October. We were accepted and will be subsidised under the Smart and Skilled FUNDED program, for 2015, in the Cert III in Aged Care and the Cert III in Home and Community Care qualifications. That means you can enroll and if eligible, the course will be subsidised. (similar to the TAFE System), where the student pays the concession rate and the rest is funded. Come in and check if you are eligible.

Why not get ready for Uni? Join the Cert IV in Aged Care and gain direct admission at Uni into the Registered Nursing Degree. Your course units have been chosen well to prepare you for the Degree.

Need help with your Uni applications? Come in and see the Clinical Administrator. Last year 69 students gained entry into Uni.

The Graduation Ceremony last night went off well. The party has started. I leave on a trek to mystical India, and will see the New Year in, on the beach in Goa, with my FUN LOVING Family.

I look forward to catching up again when College resumes on the 12 January for another exciting year.
