✨ Inspiring future careers in education and care ✨

Last week, Natalie and Michelle attended St Joseph's Catholic High School, Albion Park Careers Expo, where they had the opportunity to connect with students from both St Joseph's and Corpus Christi Catholic High School.

It was a fantastic opportunity to share information about career pathways in education and care and discuss the rewarding opportunities available within the sector.
The enthusiasm and engagement from the students made it a wonderful event to be part of.

🧲✨ Building Big Ideas With Magnetic Tiles! ✨🧲

Today we were exploring with the magnetic tiles, carefully connecting pieces and creating our own structures 🏗️
This type of construction play supports fine motor skills, hand eye coordination, concentration, and problem solving as children experiment with balance, shape, and design 👐
Magnetic tile play also encourages creativity, persistence, and confidence as children bring their ideas to life — one tile at a time!

Celebrating Community, Culture and 40 Years of ECTARC

The celebration at ECTARC The Basin marked the completion of their beautiful Birrabine Miigay mural and yarning circle. These special additions to the learning environment have sparked excitement among the children, particularly as they recognised and connected with the animals they had helped identify throughout the project.

The celebration began with a led by Edwina Braddick-Pham, artist who codesigned our mural welcomed children, families, educators and management to Country. Despite the rain, the day was filled with connection, laughter and celebration.

Thank you and Congratulations to ECTARC The Basin team for your continued commitment in fulfilling ECTARC’s Vision of Enriching the Futures of children, families and communities.
