🌸 What’s one small thing you can do for yourself this week?

Women’s Health Week is happening 7–11 September, and this year’s theme is ‘Do it anyway’.

Come and visit the health team in the Café today, where they’ll be sharing practical tips, expert advice and real stories across different areas of women’s health. 💗

Whether it’s taking a moment to check in with yourself, learning something new or taking that first small step towards better health ... do it anyway✨

If you are a young person under the age of 16 currently attending secondary school, or a parent of a young person, we would love to hear from you. You can register your interest in the study at: https://researchsurveys.deakin.edu.au/jfe/form/SV_6RJuFfU1FqQQjlk

The interviews take between 30-60 minutes, depending on how much you would like to say about the social media ban. We will ask young people to provide consent from a parent to participate.

Interested in volunteering with the 2026 Warrnambool Multicultural Festival? Come and meet the team! 💛

We’re bringing together people who have expressed interest in volunteering, and our festival committee members for a casual catch-up.

It’s a chance to:
- Meet other volunteers and committee members
- Get to know each other and have a chat
- Find out more about how we’ll communicate and keep everyone updated
- Hear about our newly completed 2026–2029 Festival Strategy and what it means for the festival in the years ahead
