Our community here at university is beautifully diverse. People from different cultures, faiths, and backgrounds come together, and that diversity is something we truly value and appreciate. Eid is a reminder that while we may be different, we are united through shared values of kindness, respect, and humanity.“

GRAND IFTAR 2026 🌙

“Thank you all for coming to DUIS Iftar this evening. Gatherings like this strengthen our bonds, bring our hearts closer, and remind us of the importance of supporting one another. We hope to see you at many more of our upcoming events. Stay connected with DUIS and join us at future gatherings, programs, and events.
We are truly grateful and appreciate Deakin for providing the Musallah at the Waurn Ponds campus. We are also thankful for allowing us the opportunity to organize this special event.”

He said: “To feed the people and to greet those you know and those you do not know.

The Prophet Muhammad said:

“The best among you are those who have the best manners and character.”
Sahih bukhari 3559.

The Prophet ﷺ said:

“The one who does good to you, respond with goodness; and the one who harms you, pardon him.”

“O people, spread peace, feed others, maintain family ties, and pray at night while people are sleeping, you will enter Paradise in peace.”

The Prophet ﷺ said:

“The most beloved people to Allah are those who are most beneficial to people.”

َاعْتَصِمُوا بِحَبْلِ ٱللَّهِ جَمِيعًۭا وَلَا تَفَرَّقُوا۟

“And hold firmly to the rope of Allah all together and do not become divided”

Rasool Allah ﷺ said:

“O people, your Lord is One and your father is one. There is no superiority of an Arab over a non-Arab nor a non-Arab over an Arab neither of a white over a black nor a black over a white except by piety.”
