Today, we celebrate the power of literacy to create opportunities, build confidence and connect people across cultures.

This August, we welcomed students from UOW College Hong Kong for a memorable two-week cultural immersion program in Australia. 🌏🇦🇺
Through workshops, excursions and homestay experiences, students strengthened their communication skills while exploring Australian culture, community life and some of the region’s most iconic destinations. Along the way, they built new friendships, gained valuable insights and created lasting memories.

This week, we celebrated Wear It Purple Day with our students in the Learning Hub. 💜
Students came together to enjoy free merch, cake, card games and mindful colouring while learning more about the importance of acceptance, understanding and diversity in our community.
It was wonderful to see so many domestic and international students showing their support for the LGBTQIA+ community and helping create a welcoming environment where everyone feels they belong.
