Oath Taking & Farewell Ceremony of TRIPLE 2 Department of Pharmacy.

A wonderful and memorable event was held to celebrate the Oath-Taking & Farewell Ceremony of the 222 Batch of the Department of Pharmacy. The warm atmosphere and thoughtful arrangements made the program truly remarkable.

The ceremony was honored by the presence of our Honorable Vice-Chancellor, Pro Vice-Chancellor, Treasurer, Board Secretary, Chairperson of the Department of Pharmacy, Batch Counsellor and venerate faculty members.

The event was exceptionally well-organized and successfully conducted, reflecting the dedication and teamwork of everyone involved. It marked a proud and joyous moment for the 222 Batch as they stepped forward to embrace their professional journey with commitment and integrity.

১৬ মে বাংলাদেশ ফিল্ম আর্কাইভ, আগারগাঁওয়ে অনুষ্ঠিত হয়ে গেলো ‘জাতীয় চলচ্চিত্র সম্মেলন ২০২৬’। বাংলাদেশ ফেডারেশন অব ফিল্ম সোসাইটিজ (বিএফএফএস) ও বাংলাদেশ ফিল্ম আর্কাইভের যৌথ আয়োজনে অনুষ্ঠিত এ সম্মেলনে দেশের বিভিন্ন বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ভিত্তিক প্রায় ১০৭টি চলচ্চিত্র সংগঠন অংশগ্রহণ করে। এর মধ্যে প্রাইমএশিয়া ইউনিভার্সিটির “আলোকছায়া – ফিল্ম ও ফটোগ্রাফি ক্লাব” অন্যতম অংশগ্রহণকারী সংগঠন হিসেবে প্রতিনিধিত্ব করে।
অনুষ্ঠানে প্রধান অতিথি হিসেবে উপস্থিত ছিলেন মাননীয় তথ্য ও সম্প্রচার মন্ত্রণালয়ের প্রতিমন্ত্রী জনাব জহির উদ্দিন স্বপন, এমপি এবং প্রধানমন্ত্রীর তথ্য ও সংস্কৃতি বিষয়ক উপদেষ্টা জনাব জাহেদ উর রহমান। অনুষ্ঠানে সভাপতিত্ব করেন বাংলাদেশ ফেডারেশন অব ফিল্ম সোসাইটিজের সভাপতি ডা. জহিরুল ইসলাম কচি। এছাড়াও উপস্থিত ছিলেন ফেডারেশনের সাধারণ সম্পাদক মো: নুরুউল্লাহ এবং বাংলাদেশ ফিল্ম আর্কাইভের মহাপরিচালক ম. জাভেদ ইকবাল।
প্রাইমএশিয়া ইউনিভার্সিটির পক্ষ থেকে প্রতিনিধিত্ব করেন আলোকছায়া – ফিল্ম ও ফটোগ্রাফি ক্লাবের মডারেটর ও সহকারী অধ্যাপক লুবাতুল আরাবিয়া এবং মো: আহসান চৌধুরী। তাঁরা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ভিত্তিক চলচ্চিত্র ও সৃজনশীল সাংস্কৃতিক চর্চার গুরুত্ব, শিক্ষার্থীদের জন্য সেমিনার ও ওয়ার্কশপের প্রয়োজনীয়তা এবং চলচ্চিত্রচর্চার সামাজিক ও সাংস্কৃতিক প্রভাব নিয়ে বক্তব্য রাখেন। ফেডারেশনের পক্ষ থেকে ভবিষ্যতে যৌথভাবে কাজ করার আশ্বাস প্রদান করা হয় এবং জাতীয় পর্যায়ে সরকারি প্ল্যাটফর্মের সঙ্গে সম্পৃক্ত হওয়ার সম্ভাবনার কথাও উল্লেখ করা হয়।
সম্মেলনের অন্যতম আকর্ষণ ছিলো বহুল আলোচিত চলচ্চিত্র ‘দ্য ইউনিভার্সিটি অফ চানখাঁর পুল’-এর অফিসিয়াল ট্রেইলার প্রদর্শনী। ছাত্ররাজনীতি ও বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় হল সংস্কৃতির প্রেক্ষাপটে নির্মিত এ চলচ্চিত্রটি ইতোমধ্যে আন্তর্জাতিক চলচ্চিত্র সমালোচক সংস্থা FIPRESCI Award 2026 অর্জন করেছে। চলচ্চিত্রটির নির্বাহী প্রযোজক হাফিজউদ্দিন মুন্না প্রাইমএশিয়া ইউনিভার্সিটির টেক্সটাইল ইঞ্জিনিয়ারিং বিভাগের প্রাক্তন শিক্ষার্থী এবং বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের ডিবেট ক্লাবের সাবেক জেনারেল সেক্রেটারি।
চলচ্চিত্রবোদ্ধা ও সংস্কৃতিকর্মীরা আশা প্রকাশ করেন, তরুণ প্রজন্মের সৃজনশীলতা, মনন ও সামাজিক দায়বদ্ধতার সমন্বয়ে এ ধরনের আয়োজন দেশের সুস্থ চলচ্চিত্র আন্দোলনকে আরও সমৃদ্ধ করবে।

The Department of Law at Primeasia University successfully organized the LLB Cricket Festival 2026, an exciting inter-batch cricket tournament featuring five competitive teams from the department.

After a thrilling final match, Appeal King 241 emerged as the champions by defeating Legal Wolves by 33 runs. The tournament reflected the spirit of teamwork, sportsmanship, unity, and healthy competition among the students.

The final match was graced by the honorable Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. ANM Meshquat Uddin, respected Pro-Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Rayhana Begum, respected Secretary of the Board of Trustees Muhammad Azharul Islam, the esteemed Chairperson of the Department of Law Dr. A T AM Sadiqur Rahman, along with faculty members and students, whose presence made the event even more memorable and inspiring.

The Tournament concluded successfully in a joyful and vibrant atmosphere, celebrating both athletic excellence and the strong bond within the law department community.
