সকল ডিপার্টমেন্টাল ক্লাবের ছাত্র এবং শিক্ষকরা ফ্রি-মিক্সিং, ধূমপান, মাদক সহ নানা অপসংস্কৃতির উপর সতর্কতা মূলক ব্যানার ও ফেস্টুন নিয়ে র‍্যালি তে অংশগ্রহণ করে।

আন্তর্জাতিক ইসলামি বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় চট্টগ্রামের কম্পিউটার এন্ড কমিউনিকেশন ইঞ্জিনিয়ারিং বিভাগের সিসিই ক্লাব এবং সিসিই ক্লাব ফিমেল চ্যাপ্টারের যৌথ আয়জনে ৯ জানুয়ারি ২০২৩ (সোমবার) বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের কেন্দ্রীয় অডিটোরিয়ামে অনুষ্ঠিত হয় ”পুরো বিশ্বে কম্পিউটার এন্ড কমিউনিকেশন ইঞ্জিনিয়ারিং, আর্টিফিশিয়াল ইন্টেলিজেন্স এবং বিগ ডাটার গুরুত্ব” শীর্ষক সেমিনার।
উক্ত সেমিনারে প্রধান অতিথি হিসেবে উপস্থিত ছিলেন বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের সম্মানিত উপাচার্য প্রফেসর মোঃ আনোয়ারুল আজিম আরিফ, বিশেষ অতিথি হিসেবে উপস্থিত ছিলেন আই আই ইউ সি বোর্ড অব ট্রাস্টিজ এর সদস্য এবং ফিমেল একাডেমিক জোনের চেয়ারম্যান মিসেস রিজিয়া রেজা চৌধুরী, উপ-উপাচার্য প্রফেসর ড. মোঃ মছরুরুল মওলা, ট্রেজারার প্রফেসর ড. মোহাম্মদ হুমায়ুন কবির এবং রেজিস্ট্রার জনাব এ.এফ.এম আকতারুজ্জামান কায়সার।
উক্ত সেমিনারের প্রধান বক্তা হিসেবে উপস্থিত ছিলেন ড. জিয়া উদ্দীন, প্রফেসর, ডিপার্টমেন্ট অব এ.আই. এন্ড বিগ ডাটা, উসং ইউনিভার্সিটি, দক্ষিণ কোরিয়া এবং এলামনাই সিসিই ৪র্থ ব্যাচ, আই-আই-ইউ-সি। এছাড়াও উক্ত অনুষ্ঠানে বক্তা হিসেবে উপস্থিত ছিলেন প্রফেসর ড. জাংপিল শিন, স্কুল অব কম্পিউটার সাইন্স এন্ড ইঞ্জিনিয়ারিং, ইউনিভার্সিটি অব আইযু, জাপান।
বক্তব্য শেষে প্রধান অতিথি অনুষ্ঠানের প্রধান বক্তাকে সম্মাননা স্মারক হিসেবে একটি ক্রেস্ট তুলে দেন। এরপরে অনুষ্ঠানের সভাপতি সিসিই ডিপার্টমেন্টের চেয়ারম্যান প্রফেসর ইঞ্জিঃ মোঃ রাজু আহমেদ সবাইকে ধন্যবাদ দিয়ে অনুষ্ঠানে সমাপ্তি ঘোষণা করেন।

মাননীয় বিওটি চেয়ারম্যান প্রফেসর ড. আবু রেজা মুহাম্মদ নিজামুদ্দিন নদভী এম.পি. মহোদয়ের এডভাইজর প্রফেসর ড. শাহাদাত হোসাইন গত ২১.১১.২০২২ সিসিই ডিপার্টমেন্ট ভিজিট করেন। তিনি সিসিই চেয়ারম্যান ও শিক্ষকদের সাথে ৪র্থ শিপ্ল বিপ্লবে কম্পিউটার এবং কমিউনিকেশন ইঞ্জিনিয়ারিং এর গুরুত্ব এবং ক্যারিয়ার গঠনে প্রয়োজনীয় স্কিল নিয়ে আলোচনা করেন। সেই সাথে ৪র্থ শিল্প বিপ্লবের জন্য প্রয়োজনীয় দক্ষ মানব সম্পদ গঠনে কম্পিউটার এবং কমিউনিকেশন ইঞ্জিনিয়ারিং ডিপার্টমেন্ট এর বিভিন্ন উদ্যোগের প্রশংসা করেন। সম্প্রতি আয়োজিত সিসিই ফেস্ট ২০২২ বিভিন্ন কার্যক্রম সম্পর্কে জেনে সন্তোষ প্রকাশ করেন এবং ভবিষ্যতে এ ধরণের ফেস্ট, ওয়ার্কশপ, সেমিনার আয়োজন করার জন্য শিক্ষকদের আহ্বান করেন। আলোচনায় গবেষণা ও প্রকাশনা, বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের ওয়ার্ল্ড র‍্যাঙ্কিং, ল্যাব ও ডিজিটাল ক্লাসরুম এবং অন্যান্য বিষয় গুরুত্ব পায়। আলোচনা শেষে তিনি সিসিই ডিপার্টমেন্টের চেয়ারম্যান ও শিক্ষকদের নিয়ে ক্লাস কক্ষ, ল্যাব ক্লাস সমূহ ঘুরে দেখেন এবং সিসিই ফেস্টের আইডিয়া জেনেরেশনের ছাত্র-ছাত্রীদের উপস্থাপন করা আইডিয়াগুলো দেখেন।
