MPH 7th and 8th Batch Defense!
The thesis defense of seven Master of Public Health (MPH) fellows from the 7th and 8th batches of the One Health Institute (OHI), CVASU, was held today at the Conference Room of the Department of Medicine & Surgery (DMS), CVASU. The program was convened and moderated by Prof. Dr. Md. Mizanur Rahman, Director (In-charge) of OHI. The thesis evaluation team included:

The thesis topics spanned a wide range of critical issues, from gestational diabetes mellitus and antimicrobial resistance (AMR) profiles in medical and veterinary hospitals to the risk assessment of street foods near elementary school premises in the Chattogram Metropolitan Area—all explored through a dedicated public health lens.
Other distinguished participants included Prof. Dr. Mohammad Alamgir Hossain (Dept. of Pathology & Parasitology, CVASU), Prof. Dr. Md Anowar Parvez (DMS, CVASU), and Dr. Syeda Munira Dilshad (Lecturer, Dept. of Public Health, Premier University). The session was also attended by PhD and MPH 9th Batch fellows of OHI, as well as Master’s fellows from the Faculty of Food Science & Technology, CVASU. The program was meticulously coordinated by the office personnel of OHI and the DMS.
