The Department of Qur’anic Sciences and Islamic Studies at International Islamic University Chittagong organized a view exchange program and an iftar gathering with the participation of teachers and students.

The Pro-Vice Chancellor of the university Professor Dr. Hasmat Ali attended the program as the chief guest. The Dean of the Faculty of Shariah and Islamic Studies Professor Dr. Md. Rashid Jahed was present as the special guest.

On the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan, 𝐂𝐂𝐄 𝐂𝐋𝐔𝐁, 𝐈𝐈𝐔𝐂 organized a warm and friendly 𝐈𝐟𝐭𝐚𝐫 𝐌𝐚𝐡𝐟𝐢𝐥 𝐚𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐳𝐞 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐛𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐂𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐑𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐝𝐚𝐧 𝐂𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐖𝐞𝐞𝐤 - 2026, With the sincere effort, dedication, and cooperation of the club members, the program was conducted in a beautiful and well-organized manner. The program started with the recitation of the Holy Qur’an (Quran Tilawat), creating a spiritual and peaceful atmosphere for the event.

The program was honored by the gracious presence of the 𝐏𝐫𝐨 𝐕𝐢𝐜𝐞-𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐈𝐈𝐔𝐂, 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐟. 𝐃𝐫. 𝐌𝐨𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐦𝐚𝐝 𝐇𝐚𝐬𝐦𝐚𝐭 𝐀𝐥𝐢 Sir, who attended as the 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐞𝐟 𝐆𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐭. The event was also attended by the respected Chairman of the CCE Department, 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐟𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐫 𝐌𝐝 𝐑𝐚𝐳𝐮 𝐀𝐡𝐦𝐞𝐝 Sir, along with honorable faculty members 𝐃𝐫. 𝐌𝐨𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐝 𝐒𝐚𝐢𝐟𝐮𝐝𝐝𝐢𝐧 and 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐫. 𝐌𝐝 𝐉𝐢𝐚𝐛𝐮𝐥 𝐇𝐨𝐪𝐮𝐞 Sir, 𝐂𝐂𝐄 𝐂𝐋𝐔𝐁 President Assistant Professor 𝐀𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐮𝐥 𝐇𝐨𝐪𝐮𝐞 Sir and other respected teachers and students of the department.

During the program, the distinguished guests delivered inspiring and motivational speeches to the students. The 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐞𝐟 𝐆𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐭, 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐟. 𝐃𝐫. 𝐌𝐨𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐦𝐚𝐝 𝐇𝐚𝐬𝐦𝐚𝐭 𝐀𝐥𝐢 Sir, highlighted the spiritual significance of Ramadan, emphasizing religious values and the importance of engaging in worship during youth to build a morally strong and responsible life. 𝐃𝐫. 𝐌𝐨𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐝 𝐒𝐚𝐢𝐟𝐮𝐝𝐝𝐢𝐧 sir shared valuable guidance regarding academic excellence, discipline, and future career development. 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐟𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐫 𝐌𝐝 𝐑𝐚𝐳𝐮 𝐀𝐡𝐦𝐞𝐝 sir also addressed the students, stressing the importance of dedication, hard work, and perseverance in developing personal talents and professional skills.

The club president 𝐀𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐮𝐥 𝐇𝐨𝐪𝐮𝐞 sir also spoke during the program and highlighted the activities and initiatives of 𝐂𝐂𝐄 𝐂𝐋𝐔𝐁, 𝐈𝐈𝐔𝐂 discussing the club’s role in organizing academic, cultural, and skill-development programs for students and encouraging them to actively participate in the club’s future activities.

An important segment of the program was the 𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐳𝐞 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐛𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐂𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐲 for the winners of the 𝐑𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐝𝐚𝐧 𝐂𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐖𝐞𝐞𝐤 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 competitions.

The winners received their awards from the 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐞𝐟 𝐆𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐭.

Several respected alumni of the department were also present at the Iftar Mahfil. After Iftar, they engaged in meaningful discussions with the students, sharing valuable insights about career development and experiences from their professional journeys, which will undoubtedly benefit the students in their future paths.
With the sincere participation and cooperation of everyone, the event was successfully completed in a warm and memorable manner. Such initiatives by 𝐂𝐂𝐄 𝐂𝐋𝐔𝐁, 𝐈𝐈𝐔𝐂 strengthen the bond of unity, harmony, and mutual understanding among teachers, students, and alumni, while also inspiring the continuation of similar programs in the future.

A discussion meeting was held with the female Class Representatives (CRs) and Assistant Class Representatives (ACRs) of International Islamic University Chittagong (IIUC). The meeting took place today (Sunday) at the university’s central auditorium.

The Vice-Chancellor of the university Professor Dr. Mohammad Ali Azadi attended the program as the chief guest. The newly appointed Pro-Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Muhammad Hasmat Ali was present as the special guest.

Around two hundred female Class Representatives and Assistant Class Representatives from different departments of the university participated in the meeting. During the session, the students were given the opportunity to share their opinions and suggestions on various issues, including academic activities, the campus environment, and co-curricular activities.
