Strengthening industry-academia collaboration for a future-ready workforce.

Universal College Bangladesh (UCBD), a concern of STS Group, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with 3S Softech Ltd, one of Bangladesh’s leading technology solutions providers specializing in software engineering, digital transformation, IT infrastructure, and technology consulting.

The MoU was signed by Mr. Kingshuk Gupta, COO of UCBD, on behalf of the institution, and Mr. Md. Taufiq Hasan, Managing Director of 3S Softech Ltd, on behalf of the organization. The signing ceremony was also attended by Mr. Shah Yousha Ahmad, General Manager – Corporate Relations, STS Group, and Mr. Noor Hossain, Business Development Executive, 3S Softech Ltd.

This partnership aims to create meaningful opportunities for students through industry engagement, knowledge sharing, internships, and career development initiatives, further bridging the gap between academic learning and professional excellence.

We were absolutely honored to welcome Dr. Rubana Huq, Vice Chancellor of the Asian University for Women (AUW) and Chairperson of Mohammadi Group, to the Universal College Bangladesh (UCBD) campus today!

During this momentous visit, Mr. Manas Singh, CEO of STS Group, formally welcomed Dr. Huq and led her on an exclusive tour of our state-of-the-art international labs and modern educational facilities.

Universal College Bangladesh (UCBD) was honoured to welcome Ms Monisha Abraham, Managing Director and CEO of British American To***co (BAT) Bangladesh, to its campus today.
During her visit, Ms Monisha Abraham toured UCBD’s international-standard academic facilities, including classrooms and specialised laboratories, gaining first-hand insight into the institution’s commitment to delivering globally benchmarked education in Bangladesh. She also engaged in discussions on the diverse academic programmes offered at UCBD and the institution’s role in preparing future-ready graduates.

On 4th June 2026, Universal College Bangladesh (UCBD) and Runner Group signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), marking the beginning of an exciting collaboration for an end-to-end talent engagement pipeline, including internships, campus hiring, leadership-led sessions, and career development initiatives. The MoU was signed by Mr. Kingshuk Gupta, COO of UCBD, and Mr. Kazi Mohammad Jafar Sadek, Group Chief Human Resources Officer of Runner Group, at the Runner Group Head Office in Tejgaon Industrial Area, Dhaka. Shah Yousha Ahmad, General Manager – Corporate Relations of STS Group, and Malobica Mahfuz, HRBP and other senior officials of Runner Group, were also present at the signing ceremony.
