The first Meetup of BracU Biotechnology Graduates organized by BracU Biotechnology Graduate Network (BUBGN).

We are thankful to the Dept. of MNS of Brac University and all the organizers for the arrangements. We would like to express our gratitude to the alumni and faculties for their graceful presence to make the meetup successful.

Biotechnology program director of Brac University, BSc and MSc graduates, Biotechnology faculties were present and expressed their interests and concerns in this event. Short term and long term plans and activities were discussed which will be announced soon.

The interim executive body (IEB) is formed and the IEB will be working on making BUBGN official and effective, active with engagements.

Bracu MS student of Biotechnology program have published two articles recently. Two of our Bangladeshi students published one article published last month, and this month one of our international; student published another article in this month’s Biosafety Newsletter. This newsletter is a monthly e-newsletter, which is available in social network including tweeter, LinkedIn along with several websites. Moreover, these are also circulated through email to more than 10K people throughout the world who are working as researchers and regulators in the field of biotechnology laws i.e. biosafety. The article has been published as "Student Showcase" articles.

Department of MNS (School of Data & Sciences, Brac University) has started MS in Biotechnology program (36 credits) in 2007 and BS in Biotechnology program (136 credits) in 2010. These multidisciplinary programs offer academic and research excellence.
