We do not want you to miss a quality experience full of merriment of convocation. Accordingly, we planned the following activities for your enjoyment.

1. The main ceremony will be held on 12 July 2023 at the BBCFEC (Bangabandhu Bangladesh-China Friendship Exhibition Centre) at Purbachal, Dhaka; between 3:00-5:00 pm. The electronic invitation card is attached to this email. You will find the details there.

2. You are requested to be at the venue by 1 p.m. dressed in your gown, hood, and cap. Please remember that the venue gates will be closed at 2:30 PM for a smooth flow of the program.

3. Seat plans are done according to school and have color codes. You would receive a colored badge at the entrance point of the venue to match your seats. However, volunteers will direct you to your seat.

4. You are invited with one guest on the 12th, as the maximum capacity of this venue permits only one guest per student.

5. Convocation dinner and cultural program for 2020 students will take place on campus on 14 July and convocation dinner and cultural program for 2021 students will take place on campus on 15 July. You can bring two guests to the convocation dinner and concert. Details of these programs will reach you soon.

6. Convocation brochures, gift items, and main certificates will be distributed later on and the dates will be notified by the Controller of Examinations.

The NSU authority is committed to making your Convocation as memorable as possible, and truly regrets some of the limitations that have to be imposed.

We look forward to your enthusiastic participation in this milestone ceremony of your life.

Dear Graduating Students,

I hope both you and your family are in good health.

You will be pleased to know that the long-awaited 24th Convocation (for students who graduated in 2020 and 2021) is going to be held on July 12, 2023, from 3 pm to 5 pm, in the Bangabandhu Bangladesh-China Friendship Exhibition Centre (BBCFEC) at Purbachal (the venue of the Dhaka International Trade Fair).

The Honorable Education Minister of the Government's Republic of Bangladesh, Dr. Dipu Moni, will be conferring the degrees.

You will be getting all convocation-related information through SMS and the NSU website.

কাল আমাদের সবার আকাঙ্ক্ষিত দোল পূর্ণিমা। দোল পূর্ণিমা আসবে, আর দোল উৎসব পালন হবে না, তা কিরে হয়!

বরাবরের মতো এনএসইউ হিন্দু কমিউনিটি স্বউদ্যোগে চেষ্টা করেছে অল্প পরিসরে হলেও সবাই যাতে সবাইকে দোলের রঙে রাঙাতে পারে এ শুভক্ষণে সে আয়োজনের ।
তাই যারা ঢাকায় কিংবা বসুন্ধরায় অবস্থান করছেন সবাইকে এ মহতী আয়োজনের অংশ হতে আমন্ত্রণ জানানো হচ্ছে। আপনারা সকলে সবান্ধবে আমন্ত্রিত।

The country's private universities are going to introduce a semester (six-month term) system instead of the existing trimester (four-month term) system from 1 July this year to scale up research and extra-curricular activities of teachers and students.

The University Grants Commission (UGC) has already sent letters to all the private universities to take necessary preparation for implementing this system and received positive response from them in this regard, said officials concerned.

Dear all,

It is my utmost pleasure to announce that the NSU Pathology Lab (Adjacent to the Medical Center) is now open to provide diagnostic services. This lab will provide authentic test results at affordable prices.
I express my sincere gratitude to honourable Chair Mr. Azim Uddin Ahmed for providing his continued support and to Mr. M A Kashem (immediate past Chair of the BoT) who encouraged and supported a lot along with other members of the BoT to establish this small but important center at NSU premises.
Thank you VC sir for supporting this project all through and I wish to acknowledge the cooperation of PD Mr. Mushtaque Habib as well.
