Organized by the NUB EEE CLUB, the two-day long event was held on 11–12 December 2025 at Northern University Bangladesh. We are pleased to announce that Dr. Md. Shahiduzzaman, Associate Professor & Coordinator, Department of EEE, Northern University Bangladesh, and his team have successfully presented a research paper at the 24th International Mathematics Conference, held on 18–19 December 2025 at the University of Chittagong, Chattogram, Bangladesh. The paper, titled “The Optimal Solution of Duffing Oscillator by Modified Iteration Procedure”, reflects significant advancement in applied mathematics and engineering research.

Dr. Shahiduzzaman attended the conference alongside his coauthors from Pirojpur Science and Technology University and Khulna University of Engineering & Technology. Their collaborative work has been published in the conference proceedings, marking an important contribution to the academic community.

Northern University Bangladesh organized the Victory Day Mini Sports Events 2025 on 16 December at its Permanent Campus to celebrate the nation’s historic Victory Day. The Department of EEE proudly demonstrated excellence and competitive spirit in the inter-department sports events.

EEE achieved remarkable success across multiple categories: the students’ cricket team secured the championship, the faculty cricket team also claimed the champion’s title, and Nisat Tasnim Sadhona, Lecturer in EEE, earned first position in the female faculty ball-throwing competition. These victories highlight the department’s all-round talent and dedication.

𝐄𝐄𝐄 𝐅𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝟑.𝟎 𝐃𝐚𝐲-𝟐 𝐇𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬 – 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐫𝐭 𝐛𝐲 𝐊𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐠𝐡𝐨𝐫 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐂𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐬!

The second day (12 December) of EEE Fest 3.0, organized by the NUB EEE CLUB, concluded with vibrant cultural performances and a much-anticipated concert by the renowned Bangladeshi band Kureghor. Following the successful first day of seminars, technical sessions, and contests, the evening of Day-2 was designed to celebrate the spirit of the fest as a whole. The event took place at the Auditorium of the NUB Permanent Campus, drawing a large and enthusiastic audience.

Students from various departments showcased their talents through singing, dancing, and other cultural performances, creating an atmosphere of joy and unity across the campus. These performances reflected the creativity and energy of the university community, adding a colorful dimension to the technical and academic achievements of the festival. The auditorium echoed with applause as participants captivated the audience with their artistry.

The highlight of the evening was the electrifying concert by Kureghor, which transformed the auditorium into a sea of excitement. With faculty members of the Department of EEE, alumni, and students from across disciplines in attendance, the venue was filled to capacity, leaving no space to spare. The powerful performance by Kureghor marked a fitting finale to Day-2 and brought EEE Fest 3.0 to a memorable close, leaving participants inspired and energized for future endeavors.

The second day (12 December) of EEE Fest 3.0, organized by the NUB EEE CLUB, commenced with the Closing and Award Ceremony at the Auditorium of the NUB Permanent Campus. Beginning at 11:30 AM, the session was marked by insightful guidelines and inspirational speeches from distinguished guests, including Prof. Dr. Md. Mizanur Rahman, Head of the Department of EEE, NUB; Dr. Shaila Salahuddin, Associate Professor; Dr. Md. Shahiduzzaman, Associate Professor & Coordinator; Dr. Md. Sazib Mollik, Assistant Professor & Coordinator; and Imran Chowdhury, Assistant Professor, Department of EEE, NUB. Their words of encouragement and wisdom provided valuable direction to the students and participants.

Adding to the significance of the ceremony, Nazmul Huda, General Secretary of the EEE Alumni Association, shared his career insights and guidance with junior peers, reinforcing the strong bond between alumni and current students. The leadership of the NUB EEE Club also expressed their gratitude, with President Md. Rifat Mahmud Habibullah and General Secretary Md. Rafikuzzaman Shakil acknowledging the collective efforts behind the successful organization of the Fest.

The Award Ceremony celebrated the achievements of participants, with prizes distributed to winners of various contests and project showcases from Day-1 (held on 11 December). Selected students were also honored with crests and certificates in recognition of outstanding academic performance and extracurricular contributions. With this, the first half of Day-2 concluded on a high note, leaving the audience eagerly anticipating the vibrant cultural performances and concert scheduled for the second half of the day.

The second half of Day‑1 of EEE Fest 3.0, organized by the NUB EEE CLUB, brought together a vibrant mix of technical sessions and contests at the NUB Permanent Campus (Room #105 and Courtyard). Following the inauguration ceremony and seminar, participants showcased their talent and innovation through events such as the Engineering Project Showcase, Robo Soccer Contest, and Circuit Arena Contest. These activities created an energetic atmosphere, reflecting the creativity and technical expertise of the students.

The Engineering Project Showcase drew special attention as distinguished members of the university leadership visited the arena. Among them were Prof. Dr. Md. Mizanur Rahman, Vice Chancellor of NUB; Prof. Dr. Md. Mustafizur Rahman, Treasurer of NUB and Dean of the Faculty of Science & Engineering; and Cdr. Md. Mostafa Shahid (Retd.), Registrar of NUB. They were accompanied by Prof. Dr. Md. Mizanur Rahman, Head of the Department of EEE, NUB. Their presence underscored the university’s commitment to fostering innovation and encouraging student-led initiatives.

The contests added a competitive edge to the day’s proceedings. The Robo Soccer Contest unfolded in three phases, with several contenders battling for victory, culminating in a thrilling final match. Meanwhile, the Circuit Arena Contest challenged participants in two stages—Circuit Solving and Practical Circuit Construction—with three winners selected for recognition. With these exciting events, Day‑1 concluded on a high note, leaving participants and audiences eagerly anticipating Day‑2 of EEE Fest 3.0 on 12 December 2025.

The opening day of EEE Fest 3.0, organized by the NUB EEE CLUB, featured a thought-provoking seminar titled “Engineering Career: Myth vs Reality” on 11 December 2025 at the NUB Permanent Campus (Room #105). Held as one of the key segments following the inauguration ceremony, the seminar brought together students, faculty, and industry leaders to discuss the realities of engineering careers. The keynote address was delivered by Mr. Sheikh Rafat Bin Ali, CEO & Founder of Ulterior Engineering Ltd., who shared his professional insights with the audience. The session was graced by Prof. Dr. Md. Mustafizur Rahman, Treasurer of NUB and Dean of the Faculty of Science & Engineering, as Special Guest, and chaired by Prof. Dr. Md. Mizanur Rahman, Head of the Department of EEE, NUB.

Several distinguished faculty members of the Department of EEE were present, including Dr. Md. Shahiduzzaman, Associate Professor & Coordinator; Dr. Md. Sazib Mollik, Assistant Professor & Coordinator; and Imran Chowdhury, Assistant Professor. In his keynote speech, Mr. Rafat Bin Ali emphasized the importance of understanding the roles and positions available to fresh graduates in the EEE industry. He highlighted that awareness of these career pathways is essential for students to set clear professional goals and prepare themselves for the challenges ahead. His remarks resonated strongly with the audience, encouraging them to bridge the gap between academic learning and industry expectations.

A major highlight of the seminar was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Department of EEE, NUB, and Ulterior Engineering Ltd. This partnership aims to provide students and faculty with access to professional engineering workshops and training programs, equipping them with practical skills and industry exposure. The MoU represents a significant step toward fostering collaboration between academia and industry, ensuring that NUB graduates are better prepared to thrive in the evolving engineering landscape.

The much-anticipated EEE Fest 3.0, organized by the NUB EEE CLUB, commenced on 11 December 2025 at the Northern University Permanent Campus, with sessions held in Room #105 and the Courtyard. The two-day program began with its Inauguration Ceremony at 11:00 AM, graced by distinguished members of the university’s leadership. The Chief Guest was Prof. Dr. Md. Mizanur Rahman, Vice Chancellor of NUB, accompanied by Special Guests Prof. Dr. Md. Mustafizur Rahman, Treasurer and Dean of the Faculty of Science & Engineering, and Cdr. Md. Mostafa Shahid (Retd.), Registrar of NUB. The session was chaired by Prof. Dr. Md. Mizanur Rahman, Head of the Department of EEE.

The organizing team from the NUB EEE Club warmly welcomed the guests with floral tributes, setting a celebratory tone for the event. During the speeches, the honorable guests shared inspirational and thought-provoking insights. Chief Guest Prof. Dr. Md. Mizanur Rahman emphasized the pivotal role of engineers in shaping the future, highlighting their ability to drive transformative changes for Bangladesh and beyond. He remarked that engineers are not only builders of technology but also potential leaders of tomorrow, capable of guiding society through innovation and resilience.

Following the speeches, the Fest was officially inaugurated through a symbolic ribbon-cutting, cake-sharing, and the release of pigeons, signifying peace and new beginnings. Faculty members of the Department of EEE, along with enthusiastic student participants, joined the occasion, creating a vibrant and festive atmosphere. The successful inauguration marked a promising start to EEE Fest 3.0, reflecting the spirit of unity, inspiration, and celebration that will continue throughout the two-day program.
