✨ The Campus Quest: The Right Start — Successfully Concluded ✨

On June 14, 2025, the Career and Placement Center (CPC) successfully organized The Campus Quest: The Right Start, a dedicated guidance session for NSU freshers.
While CPC has primarily focused on supporting graduating students in their career preparation, this semester marked a new initiative to engage with students from the very beginning of their academic journey. Through this session, freshers had the opportunity to seek guidance on course selection, academic planning, campus involvement, extracurricular opportunities, career development, and many other aspects of university life.
The event featured insightful discussions with representatives from the four schools of NSU, who shared valuable information and addressed students’ questions, helping them gain a clearer understanding of the opportunities and resources available to them throughout their university experience.
We extend our sincere gratitude to all the faculty representatives, volunteers, and participants who contributed to the success of this initiative. Encouraged by the positive response, CPC looks forward to continuing this program in the upcoming semesters and supporting students at every stage of their journey at NSU.

As a woman in Bangladesh, it has become impossible not to internalise the terrifying consistency with which women are treated in this country. Their bodies, choices, grief, sexuality, and very survival are relentlessly turned into public battlegrounds—scrutinised, punished, dissected, and consumed across both offline and virtual spaces.

Each day brings a new spectacle: another woman reduced to a cautionary tale, another tragedy twisted into entertainment. Together, they offer a bleak reminder of how quickly empathy is disappearing from our public culture.
