MS in Renewable Energy Technology (MRET), Admission advertisement for Session 2023-24
MRET is a 45-credit regular MS program extended over 3 semesters, six months each. Applications are invited from prospective students with minimum CGPA 2.5 out 4.0 at undergraduate level, for admission in the 2023-2024 session. More details of the program and application procedures are described in the Brochure.
Applicants must have an undergraduate (or equivalent) degree in any of the following-
Physics, Applied Physics, Electronics and Communication Engineering
Mathematics, Chemistry, Applied Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, Bio-Science
Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Electronics and Communications Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering
Computer Science and Engineering, Nuclear Engineering, Textile Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering
Renewable Energy Technology, Energy Technology, Earth, Soil and Environmental Science and Technology, Leather Engineering/Technology, Petroleum Engineering/Technology
Geology, Geography, IT, Energy Economics, Disaster management and other related fields
Applicants must have at least CGPA 2.50 on a scale of 4.00.
No third class/division or below GPA 2.50 in any public examination.
There is no age limit.
Anyone who are engaged with job or other business are not encouraged to apply.
Admission committee will select students based on their merits in the admission test described below-
Total marks: 100, 100 MCQ [English language, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Generatl Science, 20 questions in each subject]
Total time: 1.5 Hours
No negative marking
The minimum qualifying mark in the written test is 40
The position of the students obtaining equal total marks will be determined by giving priority on the marks of Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, General Science and English, respectively.

Form Collection & Submission: 4 November 2024 (10:00 am) to 13 February 2025 (by 4:00 pm)
Admission Test: 15 February 2025 (10:00 am–11: 30 am, Curzon hall exam centre)
