The UAP Drama Club, in collaboration with the Directorate of Studentsโ Welfare (DSW), organized a workshop titled โDeveloping the Skills of Stage Presence โ Fall 2025โ, which was successfully held on 8 and 9 May 2026 at the UAP Auditorium.
The two-day workshop brought together enthusiastic students and theatre lovers with the aim of developing acting abilities, confidence, communication skills, and overall stage performance techniques. The sessions featured experienced theatre professionals as trainers and focused on practical exercises, interactive discussions, voice projection, body language, emotional expression, improvisation, and stage confidence.
On the first day, the workshop was conducted by Dhiman Chandra Barman, who shared valuable insights on stage movement, character expression, and the fundamentals of theatrical performance. Through practical demonstrations and engaging activities, participants gained a better understanding of stage presence and audience interaction.
The second dayโs session was led by Nowrin Sazzad, who emphasized confidence building, vocal delivery, emotional connection, and performance techniques. Participants actively engaged in group exercises and performances under her guidance, making the session both lively and educational.
The workshop created an inspiring learning environment for aspiring performers and provided participants with practical knowledge and hands-on experience to enhance their theatrical and communication skills.
