BSMRSTU, a renowned public university, was established at 2001 by the name of our great leader and father of the nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, who was born in Tungipara of Gopalganj. From its humble beginning in 2001, BSMRSTU has expanded its frontiers in various fields of science and technology Business Humanities and Social Science Studies with 9 faculties and 35 departments. Among these, Faculty of Business Studies is one of most remarkable faculty that is aims at enriching the lives of thousands students. Now, it has five disciplines consisting of Marketing, Finance and Banking, Management, Accounting and Information System and Tourism & Hospitality Management. The Faculty of Business Studies (FBS) is currently offering five major programs which are BBA, MBA, MBA (Evening), M.Phil and PhD. In this faculty, about 30 full time faculty members, who have pursued their education from world renowned institutions, are dedicated to spreading knowledge among the students and enlightening the path of the national development beyond normal boundaries. From its humble beginning, FBS strives towards excellence through the practice of high quality culture in teaching and research.
