যশোর বিজ্ঞান ও প্রযুক্তি বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় (যবিপ্রবি) এবং বাংলাদেশ পরমাণু শক্তি কমিশনের অধীন ইনস্টিটিউট অব নিউক্লিয়ার মেডিসিন অ্যান্ড অ্যালাইড সায়েন্সেস (ইনমাস) যশোর ব্রাঞ্চের মধ্যে একটি সমঝোতা স্মারক (MoU) স্বাক্ষরিত হয়েছে।

সোমবার (২৬ জানুয়ারি)এ চুক্তি স্বাক্ষরিত হয়। তিন বছর মেয়াদি এই সমঝোতা স্মারক ভবিষ্যতে নবায়নের সুযোগ থাকবে।

চুক্তি অনুযায়ী যবিপ্রবির বায়োমেডিক্যাল ইঞ্জিনিয়ারিং বিভাগের শিক্ষার্থীরা ইনমাস যশোরে ইন্টার্নশিপ করার সুযোগ পাবে। এসব ইন্টার্নশিপের মাধ্যমে শিক্ষার্থীরা নিউক্লিয়ার মেডিসিন সংশ্লিষ্ট আধুনিক যন্ত্রপাতি, ক্লিনিক্যাল কার্যক্রম এবং নিরাপত্তা ব্যবস্থার ওপর হাতে-কলমে প্রশিক্ষণ লাভ করবে।

একই সঙ্গে শিক্ষক ও গবেষকদের জন্য যৌথ গবেষণা, ল্যাব সুবিধা ব্যবহার এবং যৌথ গবেষণা প্রকাশনার সুযোগ থাকবে। একইসঙ্গে উভয় প্রতিষ্ঠানের শিক্ষক ও গবেষকদের অংশগ্রহণে একাডেমিক ও ইন্ডাস্ট্রিয়াল ভিজিট, সেমিনার, কর্মশালা এবং বিভিন্ন জ্ঞান বিনিময় কার্যক্রম আয়োজনের বিষয়টিও চুক্তিতে অন্তর্ভুক্ত রয়েছে।

এছাড়াও সমঝোতা স্মারকের আওতায় যবিপ্রবির বায়োমেডিক্যাল ইঞ্জিনিয়ারিং বিভাগ এবং ইনমাস যশোর যৌথভাবে নিউক্লিয়ার মেডিসিন, মেডিকেল ইমেজিং, রেডিওফার্মাসিউটিক্যালস, রেডিয়েশন থেরাপি, বায়োমেডিক্যাল ইন্সট্রুমেন্টেশন এবং স্বাস্থ্যসেবা প্রযুক্তি সংশ্লিষ্ট বিভিন্ন গবেষণা কার্যক্রম পরিচালনা করবে।

সমঝোতা স্মারকে ইনমাস যশোরের পক্ষে স্বাক্ষর করেন প্রতিষ্ঠানটির পরিচালক ড. জামিউল হোসাইন। যবিপ্রবির বায়োমেডিক্যাল ইঞ্জিনিয়ারিং বিভাগের পক্ষে স্বাক্ষর করেন বিভাগের চেয়ারম্যান ড. হাসান মোহাম্মদ আল-ইমরান। বাংলাদেশ পরমাণু শক্তি কমিশনের (বিএইসি) পক্ষ থেকে চুক্তিতে স্বাক্ষর করেন বিএইসি ঢাকা ব্রাঞ্চের পরিচালক ড. মো. মুস্তাফিজুর রহমান এবং এর প্রধান এ. টি. এম. গোলাম কিবরিয়া। এছাড়াও যবিপ্রবির পক্ষে চুক্তিতে স্বাক্ষর করেন বায়োমেডিক্যাল ইঞ্জিনিয়ারিং বিভাগের সহকারী অধ্যাপক ড. আনাস আলী ও সহকারী রেজিস্ট্রার মো. মাহমুদুন্নবী।

BME Carnival 2025 | 12.12.25

The BME Carnival 2025 was successfully organized for the second time by the BME 6th Batch, marking a memorable celebration of unity and legacy within the Department of Biomedical Engineering.

The event proudly featured an Alumni Get-Together, the Farewell Ceremony of the BME 5th Batch, and the Freshers’ Reception of the BME 9th Batch, bringing together different generations of BME under one vibrant platform.

This successful program would not have been possible without the unwavering support and guidance of our respected faculty members, whose encouragement remained a constant source of strength. Special appreciation goes to the junior batches, whose tireless efforts, dedication, and teamwork ensured the smooth ex*****on of the event.

We are deeply grateful to our alumni, whose valuable guidance, contributions, and continued involvement played a vital role in making this carnival truly meaningful.

The students of Cyto-sphere-07 (7th Batch), Department of Biomedical Engineering, successfully organized the Freshers’ Reception 2025 to warmly welcome the junior batch Adreek-08 (Session: 2023–24).

The program was held on 10th December 2025. The event was arranged with enthusiasm and a spirit of unity, aiming to create a friendly and inspiring environment for the newcomers.
Our respected teachers and guests graced the occasion with their presence, making the program more meaningful and memorable. Their guidance and encouragement added great value to the event.

Heartfelt thanks and gratitude towards all faculty members, guests, organizers, and participants whose support and cooperation made the Freshers’ Reception a grand success. Best wishes to the juniors for a successful and bright academic journey ahead.

The Department of Biomedical Engineering extends its heartiest congratulations to our brilliant students Ayman Faiyaz and Tanzilul Hamim alongside their teammate Asif Alvi from department of Mathematics for their outstanding achievement in securing the championship at the Renewable Energy Inter University Debate Competition 2025 happened at KUET. In addition Ayman Faiyaz was also crowned as Debater of the tournament.

Their intellectual rigor, eloquence, and teamwork have brought immense honor and pride to our department, our university !

To commemorate this significant victory, the champions were photographed with their trophy alongside our Honourable Chairman, Dr. Hassan M. Al
Emran Sir and Asif Abdullah Sir, Lecturer (Former Vice President, JUST DC)

ব্রাকের আমরা নতুন নেটওয়ার্ক এর নবীন নবান্ন কমিউনিটি প্রজেক্টের ৮ টি টিমের মধ্যে চ্যাম্পিয়ন হয় যবিপ্রবির টিম -নিসর্গ নিশ্বাস,যারা ১ লক্ষ টাকা অনুদান পেয়েছে। নিসর্গ নিশ্বাস টিমে Co-founder IT হিসেবে ছিল বায়োমেডিকেল ইঞ্জিনিয়ারিং বিভাগের ২০২০-২১ সেশনের শিক্ষার্থী সুহরাত তাহসিন।

The shining star of our department, Nayem Zaman, along with his team, has written a new chapter of history!

Their journey began at the 4th National Debate Competition, organized by Noiyaeek, Khulna University, where they secured 1st place among 28 teams in the preliminary round.

From there, their unstoppable success continued—
▶️ Defeating KUET in the quarter-final
▶️ Overcoming BUTEX in the semi-final
▶️ And finally, conquering BUP in the grand final to lift the Championship Trophy 🏆

We firmly believe that in the days ahead, Nayem Zaman will continue to bring pride and glory to our department and university through his brilliance, leadership, and achievements.
