Students of the Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Science and Technology University (BSMRSTU) in Gopalganj have been repeatedly attacked for demanding the arrest of those involved in the gang-rape. The locals attacked the students at Ghonapara in the first phase at 5 pm yesterday and again attacked the students inside the campus at around 6 pm. At this time they clashed with the students. Some teachers and about 25-30 students were injured. Among the injured, some were admitted to Gopalganj Sadar Hospital.
This is not an isolated incident, this is the same picture across the country. A movement starts with a logical demand, and then police and the student wing of the ruling party attacks them.
What are these people trying to prove by attacking the students? Are people supporting Rapists Now?
What a shame for our country!
