🎉 TEXFEST 2026 | RECEPTION CEREMONY 🎉

The Department of Textile Engineering, Green University of Bangladesh, is delighted to host a Reception Ceremony in honor of the Honorable Members of Parliament as part of its flagship celebration, TexFest 2026.

The ceremony will be graced by our Chief Guests, Sanjida Islam Tulee and Mahbuba Hakim, Honorable Members of Parliament (MPs).

The event will also be honored by the presence of Prof. Dr. Mohammad Shorif Uddin, Vice-Chancellor of Green University of Bangladesh, as the Special Guest, with Prof. Dr. Nitai Chandra Sutradhar serving as the Session Chair.

Heartiest congratulations to Nusrat Jahan Surovy (ID: 223903029), a student of the Department of Textile Engineering at Green University of Bangladesh, on her outstanding success in leading Team Lazarus to become the national champion of the DataDevelop Prize 2026 BD Case Competition.

Competing against more than 1,000 students from universities across Bangladesh, Team Lazarus has demonstrated exceptional innovation, teamwork, and problem-solving capabilities.

The journey continues as the team prepares to represent Bangladesh in Hong Kong on November 7, 2026 presenting AI-driven solutions aimed at building a more sustainable Ready-Made Garments (RMG) industry.

The Green University Center for International Affairs (GCiA), in collaboration with the International Activity Club (IAC), is organizing a seminar on the Erasmus Mundus Joint Master’s Degree Program, offering valuable insights into international higher education, scholarship opportunities, and application procedures.

The seminar will be graced by Prof. Dr. Mohammad Shorif Uddin, Honorable Vice Chancellor, as the Chief Guest, and Prof. Dr. Khawza Iftekhar Uddin Ahmed, Honorable Pro Vice Chancellor, as the Special Guest. Mr. Shouvik Roy Snigdha, Country Representative of the Erasmus Mundus Association, will serve as the Resource Person, while Dr. Md Elham Hossain, Director of the Center for International Affairs, will chair the session.
