The Prize Giving Ceremony of the Friendship Cricket Tournament 2025 was held on the college premises of Rangamati Government College. It was arranged by the students of various sessions of the Department of English, Rangamati Government College.

The programme was presided over by the esteemed Head of the Department of English and Secretary of the Teachers’ Council, Mr. Anirban Barua. The ceremony was also graced by the august presence of the honourable Principal of Rangamati Government College, Professor Md. Nasimul Hoque, and the respected Vice Principal, Professor Mohammed Monwar Kobir.

The faculty member, Mr. Mohammad Iqbal Hossan, also attended the programme. All the students and teachers of the Department of English expressed their deepest gratitude to the honourable Principal and Vice Principal of the college for making the programme more lively and vibrant through their gracious presence.

The freshers of Honours 1st Year (2024-25) have chosen to leave a meaningful mark in their beloved Department as they begin their 4-year academic journey. To symbolize this new beginning, they have brought 15 flower pots filled with vibrant blooms. Just as these flowers will flourish under their care and affection, may the students also grow in wisdom and character.

May the life of every student be as bright and fragrant as these flowers.

The Opening Ceremony of the Friendship Cricket Tournament 2025 was arranged by the students of various sessions of the English Department of Rangamati Government College. The program was presided over by the esteemed Head of the English Department and Secretary of the Teachers' Council, Mr. Anirban Barua. It was also graced by the auspicious presence of the honourable Principal of Rangamati Government College, Professor Md. Nasimul Hoque. The faculty member, Mr. Mohammad Iqbal Hossan, attended the program as the Special Guest.

Under the prudent directives of Professor Nasimul Hoque, Principal of Rangamati Government College, and Professor Md. Monwar Kobir, Vice Principal of Rangamati Government College, the students of B.A. (Honours) 3rd Year, Department of English, organized a Study Tour 2025 to Parki Sea Beach.

The program was honoured by the gracious presence of the Head of the Department, Mr. Anirban Barua, and Mr. Mohammed Iqbal Hossan. The day commenced with a recitation from the holy scriptures, creating a solemn and auspicious beginning. A number of sports and cultural events were organized on this occasion, in which students took part with great enthusiasm and spontaneity.

The program came to a close with a valuable and inspiring address delivered by the honourable Head of the Department, whose thoughtful words made the event truly memorable and successful.
