Carmichael College Rangpur Carmichael College, Rangpur is a part of heritage and history of northern Bangladesh. It is indeed one of the oldest and best colleges in the the country.

Carmichael College is located at the south outskirts of Rangpur city. The college has sixteen departments, five academic buildings, four hostels for male students, three hostels for female students. Around the campus, there are thirty seven staff quarters. The three storied central mosque complex stands in the middle of the campus. There is a temple adjacent to the k.B. hostel. A health center and

a govt. primary school are in between the teachers’ dormitories named White House and Green House. Begum Rokeya University and Rangpur Cadet College are established in the acquired land of the college. The administrative building stands with its gothic art. There is also a two storied library building. An auditorium is under construction. It has two common rooms and a student’s canteen. Many big and old trees bear the testimony to the establishment of the college. Besides, some blank spaces which have already been afforested have enhanced the natural beauty of the campus. Some big green fields show the vastness of the campus. Three college buses run around the city for the transportation of students.
