All students (Bi-semester) of the Department of Textile Engineering, City University, are requested to clear their outstanding dues and print their Admit Cards prior to the final examinations.

​Please ensure all payments are settled by June 15, 2026. Please note that the final exams (Spring 2026) will commence on June 19, 2026. Entry to the examination hall strictly requires a printed Admit Card, and no student will be permitted to sit for the exam without Admit Card.

​The Department of Textile Engineering at City University expresses its deepest condolences on the sad demise of Mr. Md. Touhidul Islam, an esteemed alumnus of the 19th batch.

May Almighty Allah grant him eternal peace in Jannatul Firdaus.​We also extend our heartfelt sympathies to his bereaved family during this incredibly difficult time.

গভীর শোক ও ভারাক্রান্ত হৃদয়ে জানাচ্ছি যে, সিটি ইউনিভার্সিটি টেক্সটাইল ইঞ্জিনিয়ারিং বিভাগের ১৯তম ব্যাচের সাবেক শিক্ষার্থী (এলামনাই) জনাব মোঃ তৌহিদুল ইসলাম ইন্তেকাল করেছেন।

তাঁর এই অকাল প্রয়াণে সিটি ইউনিভার্সিটি টেক্সটাইল ক্লাব পরিবার গভীরভাবে শোকাহত। আমরা মরহুমের বিদেহী আত্মার মাগফিরাত কামনা করছি এবং শোকসন্তপ্ত পরিবার ও স্বজনদের প্রতি আন্তরিক সমবেদনা জ্ঞাপন করছি।

আল্লাহ তাআলা যেন তাঁকে জান্নাতুল ফিরদাউস নসীব করেন, তাঁর সকল গুনাহ ক্ষমা করে দেন এবং পরিবারকে এই শোক সইবার তাওফিক দান করেন।

সিটি ইউনিভার্সিটির সম্মানিত প্রতিষ্ঠাতা মরহুম আলহাজ্ব মকবুল হোসেন স্যারের ৬ষ্ঠ মৃত্যুবার্ষিকীতে জানাই গভীর শ্রদ্ধা ও দোয়া।

অনুন্নত ও মধ্যবিত্ত পরিবারের শিক্ষার্থীদের উচ্চশিক্ষার স্বপ্নকে বাস্তবে রূপ দিতে তিনি যে অসামান্য অবদান রেখে গেছেন, তা আজও হাজারো শিক্ষার্থীর জীবন আলোকিত করছে। তাঁর দূরদর্শিতা, কর্ম ও আদর্শ আমাদের হৃদয়ে চিরঅম্লান হয়ে থাকবে।

আজ তাঁর মৃত্যুবার্ষিকীতে গভীর কৃতজ্ঞতার সাথে স্মরণ করছি এই মহান মানুষটিকে। আল্লাহ তাআলা যেন তাঁকে জান্নাতের সর্বোচ্চ মাকাম দান করেন এবং তাঁর সকল নেক আমল কবুল করেন।

The Department of Textile Engineering, City University proudly congratulates the 𝟱𝟴𝘁𝗵 𝗕𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵 on their exceptional performance and victory in the 𝗦𝗵𝗮𝗵𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝗦𝗮𝗷𝗮𝗹 𝗧𝗲𝘅𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗲 𝗖𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗲𝘁 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽. 🥇🎉

The final match was held today, 17-05-2026, at the Central Field of City University. It presented a highly competitive contest between the 55th Batch and the 58th Batch, with both teams demonstrating significant technical skill and determination before the 58th Batch ultimately claimed the title.

​The final match commenced in the esteemed presence of Dr. A K M Saiful Islam, Head of the Department, who was present to start the final, alongside faculty members who joined to encourage the participants. The Department extends its sincere appreciation to all participating batches whose dedication and competitive spirit made this tournament a resounding success.

​We also express our appreciation to the City University Textile Club-CUTC for their structured ex*****on and management of the entire event. We wish the club continued success in organizing future initiatives aimed at fostering departmental engagement.
