BUFT Hosts Two-Day National Entrepreneurship Expo 2025 (2.0)

The two-day National Entrepreneurship Expo 2025 (2.0) was inaugurated on December 14 at the BGMEA University of Fashion and Technology (BUFT). The event is powered by Taza Hair Oil and Prime Bank, and co-powered by Step Footwear, KOI The Bangladesh, and MSI International. Organized by the BUFT Business Club under the theme “Leadership and How to Create Success,” the fair will continue until December 15, 2025. The event features a variety of activities, including a business case competition, panel discussions, seminars, cultural shows, and training sessions. More than 50 stalls showcasing handmade crafts, fashion, food, and various other categories from different parts of the country are participating in the fair. The Fair was attended by many distinguished guests, including Mr. Faruque Hassan, Chairman of the BUFT Board of Trustees; Acting Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Engr. Ayub Nabi Khan; popular actor Ananta Jalil; actress Afia Nusrat Barsha; Imtiaz Ahmed Imon, CEO of Taza Hair Oil; Ms. Shaila Abedin, Senior Executive Vice President of Prime Bank; Mr. M. M. Mahbub Hasan, Senior Vice President of Prime Bank; Mr. Aminul Islam Shamim, CEO of Step Footwear; and Mr. Sheikh Mohammad Imran, Advisor of the BUFT Business Club, along with several entrepreneurs, corporate leaders, faculty members, officials, and students.

Factory Visit at MM Knitwear Ltd.

Students from the Department of Business Administration at BUFT explored the world of knitwear production through an exclusive industry visit, under the guidance of Anwar Hossain (Senior General Manager, MM Knitwear Ltd.), arranged by Mohammad Mahbub Hossain (President, DBA Alumni Association & Country Manager, Tex-Ebo International Pte. Ltd.), and organized by the BUFT Business Club.
