The annual Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot is the pre-eminent moot on commercial law and arbitration, held in Vienna, Austria. Teams from over 250 universities and 60 countries take part in the written and oral advocacy competition. s the Middle East region to take part in the Middle East Pre-Moot that will serve to prepare students to compete in the international Vis Moot event held in Vienna. The Department of Commerce Commercial Law Development Program (CLDP) has partnered with the University of Pittsburgh School of Law’s Center for International Legal Education (CILE) to aid Middle East law schools in preparing for the Vis Moot. Since 2006, the Vis Moot has been introduced in Bahrain, Oman, UAE and Qatar. Participating Teams included:
